Kaldur: *slides printout across the table with both hands.* 

Dick: Someone opened a museum for ice cream? In California???

Kaldur: *nods head furiously, eyes sparkling* 

Dick: Guppy we’re not moving to California for a museum.

To begin the festivities the right way, consider Popstar Kaldur, maybe even boy band member Kaldur. He's Dick's favorite idol from the group & probably has all the merch

Oh, he most definitely has the merch. 

I bet when Dick is working at the bakery/cafe and one of the band’s songs comes on (one where Kaldur is leading vocals) and one of his coworkers is about to change the station complaining that they are lame/cheesy and Dick gives them the coldest stare (”He’s the reason ears were even invented you ya dope!”). 

Like, he’ll only get defensive about the band when Kaldur is mentioned. The music is generic. It is cookie cutter. Most of the fucking band has no talent and is overly hyped but oh boy oh boy Dick is willing to throw hands when someone dares to say Kaldur has no talent. He has been following Kaldur’s career when he was randomly flipping through youtube videos and stopped to get some to go get some cereal and it just started to play. Talk about hitting that like/subscribe and ringing that bell.  

Dick (theNightbirb) and some other user (probably Lyle tbqh, username GoldenhairedGod) are always trying to be first in the comment section. Nanosecond battles every video/post drop. Fanforums? Forget about it (they always blocking and reporting each other). They are both well known in the fansphere as superfans.

Kaldur didn’t just sing on his channel he also boosted charities and causes that he was really invested in and were close to his heart. He was always thanking his followers for the encouragement and view and is just so genuinely humble. One of his followers alerts him to a competition to get a recording contract and depending on how many twitter/facebook/youtube likes/votes people get they will move on to actual live filmed show. 

(before the fan response) 

“ So I was messaged by user...theNightbirb? Actually two users, so sorry,  GoldenhairedGod if I’m correct. Um, anyways, about this competition..and they seemed really confident that I could do well. I don’t know everyone...do you think I should do it? I mean...you know me I get nervous on stage...do you think I could make it? Drop a comment down below. If you all think it’s a good idea. I’ll give it a shot.” 

(after the fan response) 

“ Wow you guys it’s been a week and the comments are just...out of this world supportive. The number of likes? Unbelievable. I’m nervous but...I’ll do my best. Hopefully, I’ll be able to make you all proud. I think If we all work hard it’ll work out. Fingers crossed yeah?”

I'm heading to the field for the summer in a few days. This time round I'll have occasional internet/cell reception, though I'm putting my tumblr on hiatus again.
