Ok I'll bite explain the SU is disguised Invader Zim fanfiction theory

okay SO

rebecca sugar was a hardcore invader zim fan as a teenager, there is documented evidence of this. and of course peridot has a lot in common with zim. but the REAL kicker is that all of the aspects of the gems/diamond authority line up way too well with the way the irkens work

-really fckin tall leaders

-they’re out there conquering planets and using up all their shit.

-gems and irkens are both artificial lifeforms (kindergartens vs the glass tube they hatched zim out of)

and then there’s the like. off colors and the crystal gems who are maligned by the gems in charge and licherally described as “defective,” at least on the wiki, which is an invader zim thing as well

Sea Krait Herald Finally kicking off MerMayCourt for MerMay2018 with my sea krait herald! Now, I didn't have time today to paint the background and I might add a few more touches, but I am pretty happy with the progress today. If I can't fully finish each day, I will get them all done in the long run! This year, for MerMay, I wanted to take an inspired idea I saw (IG user) teatigercafe use for Inktober. Basically, she connected each day together to create a long banner illustration. Her work is gorgeous and she filmed creating her Inktobers! In creating a large single illustration, I also thought I would have the whole scene have another theme (mermaids apparently isn't enough for my love of brainstorming)! If you want to see or use my list, I posted it on the 22nd of April, so just check my wall! I am also beyond delighted to find some other artists are using my list! I will be sure to share those inspired by my list (using my hashtag) in my stories.
