Sometimes it’s easy to forget how beautiful home really is. I have travelled around the world and seen amazing views, but just a hour or two drive down the M4 and Wales is just as beautiful. I spent last Sunday afternoon at Verdi’s in Mumbles watching the Mumbles raft race with an ice cream sundae, of coconut and white chocolate ice cream topped with soft fudge pieces and an almond milkshake which was really good. This weekend I have been down to St David’s in West Wales. Myself and boyfriend have a Seamark 615sc boat, but for the last few weeks it hasn’t been working properly, which almost resulted in calling the lifeboat out, slightly ironic as boyfriend is a crew member at Porthcawl Lifeboat Station. The boat was taken down to St David’s to be fixed, so yesterday (Saturday 4th July) we drove down to St David’s to collect it. We saw some lovely views along the way of the Welsh countryside and coastline.
