I feel like a worried mother whose son isn't at home and safe:|
You're still my friend | Sean & Kayla.
It was hard for Kayla, it was as simple as that. She was in love with Zack, but she loved Sean too, she loved him as a friend and sure it had been something more once upon a time, but nothing had ever come of it and now she knew that was hurting him she had to make things right between them. In her eyes, she still saw Sean as one of the closest people to her on the lane and she didn't want that to change any time soon.
Walking up the drive of Sean's house, she stopped at the door, not knocking for a few minutes as she gathered her thoughts about the entire situation. Looking down at her hands she had a bag full of different dvd's and another two bags full of snack foods and alcohol, she had a feeling that they were going to need the alcohol more than the other two. Shaking her head slightly she chewed on her bottom lip as the thought of turning around and heading back home toyed with her mind. Forcing that thought away, she stepped forward and knocked on the door three times, she looked at the floor and shook her head again, trying to get all the negative thoughts to disappear, she knew she was going to get slaughtered by 90% of the people she knew for even trying to patch things over, or for even talking to him after him making her look like the bad person. But Kayla didn't hold grudges and she wasn't about to start now.
You got a friend in me | Sean & Kayla.
Kayla had been driving around for hours trying to push everything from her mind, she wasn't the person she'd made herself look to be earlier on that night, she wasn't a violent person and she never had been, but the things that Aria had done and said really pushed her buttons and not mention what had happened with Zack. Shaking her head slightly she pulled up outside the Johnson household and stopped the engine. Grabbing her bag she jumped out and walked up to the door, she was going to knock but then she remembered that Sean had told her not to bother and just to walk straight in.
Pushing the door open, she looked around slightly, it felt alien being in a house on Wisteria Lane that she'd never been in before, closing the door she popped her bag on the coat stand and walked forward a little. "Sean?" She called out slightly, when she was suddenly greeted with the cries of a baby she jumped a little, automatically turning for the living room as she heard them. Standing at the door of the living room Kayla's mouth fell into an 'o' shape. Sitting on the floor was Sean and a crying baby, surely that wasn't his baby? "Sean, hi.." Her voice was low as she leaned on the door frame, she didn't know what to do. "Is this a bad time?"
Well, thanks. It means a lot. Really.
You're welcome.
Okay, Kayla. Whatever you say.
You should believe me. I wouldn't be giving you the time of day if I didn't think it.
Still trying to convince myself.
I pinky promise and spit shake that you're a good guy. Okay?
(I'd love you for eternity.) Try telling that to everyone else.
(I'll get right on it!) As long as you know it, no one else matters.
