Nonsensical Thoughts:
Blumhouse’s Into the Dark strikes again with some Mom themed horror. All That we Destroy, is for all you Mommas who just don’t want to let your children be accountable for their mistakes.
We have to watch this girl die, again and again and again. It feels like they try to make us think it is justified because she was a thief? But the son is a murderer, so why are they trying so hard to make it seem like it was her fault that she was killed?
This movie raises a lot of ethical questions about DNA and life after death. Does a cloned life matter less even though it is still a living breathing organism?
And maybe the real villains are the momma’s boys that we meet along the way.
