two types of people (sean x keira)
it never once crossed sean's mind that the reason for kiera's sudden initial interest in her could ever have anything to do with kitty, let alone be the main reason that keira even looked her way; sean, instead, had always seen it as an unfortunate circumstance that the one woman sean felt any kind of genuine interest was the one woman that would get an automatic dismissal from kitty and yet here she was, openly flirting with 'the enemy' as it were. why wasn't the old adage 'keep your friends close, but your friends' enemies closer'? if that were the old saying, then sean would be killing it as she made sure the space between her and keira were minimal. that every time she reached for something, she brushed against the other as if to constantly remind keira that she did in fact want her, stole glances to confirm that keira wanted her back.
which was more than confirmed when keira faced her, the look in her eye flashing her back to the first time she'd seen it months ago on new years eve. this look of blended mischief and want that still forced the air out of her lungs. a redness spread across her cheeks as keira's lips brushed over hers. very very few people could fluster her the way keira did. sean pulled the rest of the uneaten cookie into her mouth, trying to hide the very obvious blush on her face as she tossed the other one back onto the table. "okay." she answered without hestiation because how was sean supposed to say no after a move like that?! she nodded her head in agreement. "yes, okay. yes." she did a cursory glance, once again to see if anyone had noticed the exchange and when she felt fairly in the clear she raised an eyebrow at keira.
it was keira's willingness to keep whatever it was between them, just between them that sean found... endearing. sean didn't hide their so-called 'relationship' just from kitty, but any invasive eyes. the last thing sean wanted (or even needed) was another reason for people to ask her questions about a life that didn't concern her. to answer the multiple questions from friends and co-workers what it was like knowing kitty everhart and 'riding her coattails'. she didn't want that with keira. with keira, she liked feeling it was just them; that she didn't have to worry about a fanbase that would speculate her involvement in keira's life. "take me somewhere." sean nearly begged as she stared back at her, matching keira's look.
