This guy is one of my biggest heroes. Completely saddened by his passing. I had the opportunity to study with and build a friendship with him while he lived in Oregon around 2001-2003. His mind was unquenchably (is that a word?) curious. So grateful that I had some time with him when I did and he helped me learn a lot about professional play and self-reliance. I’ve missed him over the years as we lost touch, but his teachings were always in mind.
