Lair Review: Dohmalore

Writing Workshop

Inkwell

A lot of potential here, image-wise. Lore-wise however, very nice - you’d never think of a Ridgeback as one with a meek personality, but then again years of fighting off the Shade won’t give you the strongest resolve. But back to his image - Midnight Mage would suit him well if he ever recovers from his infection.

Jericho

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Spiral with Whispwillow Magician that’s ugly. Jericho is the sad clown - ‘hey, wanna hear a joke? MY LIFE!’ *BA-DUM-TISS!* His visions always end up somewhat correct - everyone he meets, passes by, he will see their death. He will see all their misfortunes, their grievances, all - all of their suffering. He doesn’t get out much because of this.

Mesa

Despite not being built for war and manual labour, that is exactly what her lore in the Clan is. Mesa has the physical strength of a dragon twice her size and knowledge and know-how to match. She’s one of the Clan’s top strategists - her pearl has the scratch and teeth marks of her enemies - each one she has a story for. She says the moment it shatters, so will her resolve. This will be the day that all that oppose her shall fall with her.

Eschaton

Eschaton’s armour is a gift from Mesa. It’s part of her own set, she says as long as they both wear it, she is invincible in battle. Her pearl hasn’t shattered yet, so this may just be true. As battle-ready as Mesa is, Eschaton is as peaceful. A fun fact about her: she remembers every dragon’s hatchday and brings them a little something.
