As part of devoloping my Portrait Photography (Excuse the unintended pun) I've taken it upon myself to try and shoot in the most difficult conditions and make it work. One of which is midday sun and no access to an ND Filter, since as you know I lost mine to a rockpool at last weeks sunrise. The thought process being that I will be forced to have to work harder and outside any practical comfort zones to get the settings anywhere near right while shooting Manual. In turn I know this will help when finding those settings in much easier and more favourable conditions. So here is a quick video of my choice for Location 2 of my maiden voyage into Portrait Photography with the ridiculously photogenic @jakeyyyy94 This was Day 1 of creating his Portfolio for future projects including the possibility of a collaboration with a very cool fresh brand of clothing @flydoh To say neither of us have done this before be it modelling for him or Portraits for a Portfolio for me it felt like a very productive 90 minutes. A huge learning curve in a small amount of time (Harsh shadows are my nemesis) so excited to see how things turn out after a bit of Post Processing.
