He was so sweet! You can talk to him a LOT in Haven, about magic, the Fade, elves, etc. As someone who plays mostly elves and warrior/rogues that really appealed to me. It seemed like he had been alone most of his life and he needed a friend.
Before you finish Val Royeaux the game gives you an opportunity to flirt with pretty much anyone. I think there's a bit where he talks about how intense your Inquisitor is, and he gets flustered when you're nice, and literally ANYTHING I said to him was meant with 'approves, approves, approves' I had 0 reason to believe there was anything off about him! By the time he ran my heart over, I was in deep.

Do you do it for the art or for the acclaim?
Art I guess. At the very end of the day I would love to make money out of music, but music is an art. It’s an art that bring joy or motivation to people whether they’re working out, driving their car to work, or just chilling out. Even if I do make music for serious and it never (and I mean for real, it NEVER) gets any real valubale views, I’m atleast glad I finished a month’s work of music to bring out to the world of maybe a dozen of people. Sure maybe a couple dozen of people saying it’s good and stuff gives me validation but at least it gives me an answer it means it’s for nothing or something. Maybe doing mediocre video game song covers or songs about Santa Claus armed to the teeth with guns isn’t the way to do it, but atleast it’s my vision on how I wanna portray my art and not try to follow trends to get the views even though that’s half the reason to get your name out there. I coiuld make a rushed Megalovania cover and get some traction from that but never again, but atleast those 20kish views but hey that’s stuff I wanna do and I wish I did more of it but i dunno

So uh, War of the Realms has been really...fun? Like I wasn't expecting to enjoy it nearly as much as I have been. I haven't been this into an ongoing event in a while. What gives? Why do you think this event is clicking with people a lot more than a lot of other recent attempts by the Big Two?
I think a big part of it is that it’s like an actual event, it’s not some alternate universe thing, it’s not hero vs hero, it’s like how they used to be, it’s simple and straight forwards and I think that’s kinda a breath of fresh air

I just read God Loves Man Kills for the first time (I know, I know) and reading Scott saying " the means are as important as the end [...] anything less negates every belief we've ever had, every sacrifice we ever made" made me laugh out loud given what modern Scott has been up to for the past decade.
