As I mentioned previously, I am getting surgery for a debilitating health condition I've been dealing with 14 months (dragged out because of doctors' misdiagnoses) that's basically destroyed my quality of life. I'm in pain daily.
Unfortunately, the surgery can't be done in Canada because it requires expertise (details in the GFM). Also because I'm trans there are surgeons who just don't want to take my case or are prohibited by their hospital from doing it (a US surgeon was going to operate but was stopped by her hospital considering it "gender affirming care").
So I have to go to Madrid for it which will cost €40,000 (approx $60,000 CAD, Canadian Dollars). I don't expect to raise all $60,000, but I am trying to raise half of it ($30,000). My family will be helping with the other half,
I don't really expect to get the $30,000, because it's a LOT of money, but I'm in a desperate situation and in pain every single day. If you could donate anything or even just boost and share to any platforms/communities you can, it would help me so much. <
I don't like asking for money and I don't like using EG to fund raise, and I know it's a tough time for everybody right now economically, but as I said I'm desperate, so I hope you all understand me using my platform for this.

hello I know I basically didn't post this year but you see I was simply busy being extremely brainsick about a blorbo.
Anyways im going to try to be more active in 26 because idk man. I just miss being active on hear. Im sure im going to be made to regret saying that but still.

I am... still really trying to recover and having a hell of a time.
As anyone following me for a while probably already knows, I lost my job at the end of April while I was in the midst of dealing with car repairs and an aquarium malfunction. Then while I was scrambling to find a new job, my landlord announced he was gonna sell my house. So, I had to pack everything I could carry into my little car and everything I couldn't carry into a storage unit, then book it across the continental US.
The following job hunt was harrowing and took way, way longer than I expected and hoped. There were a couple of false starts that would have been great had I been physically able to keep up, but they ultimately fell through and I am only recently employed again as of November.
It is only part time, as I am both chronically fatigued and unable to stand in place for more than a few minutes at a time, so job pickings are extra slim. Yay for me. Previously, I was able to work from home and supplemented it with driving for Meals on Wheels. Now I am working again as a driver for a new Meals on Wheels branch, and supplementing it with a small beans as-needed position that is unfortunately not quite as needed as I would prefer.
And now I'm having car problems again! Aaaa! I am going to need to have my engine rebuilt to the tune of $4000 that I plainly do not have. Despite my best efforts, I am simply not able to keep my head above water on my own.
So, uh. Art commissions. Nothing fancy. It is just me with whatever ballpoint pen is closest within reach.
For $10 I will doodle something on a sticky note for you. For an extra $1 and dropping your address, I will mail it anywhere in the world.

I grok the feeling, I recently began trying to relearn that stick and ball layout technique because I got too reliant on posers and lost a lot of confidence in my ability to freehand. and I'll just say it wasn't the human OCs I decided to relearn it with dnsnbsnsjnsjsjdjsjs.
