Story Time - Seattle blow up dinghy
TRUE STORY.
So, Mikey and I ran into each other in Seattle. We found an abandoned blow up dinghy.
We call him the OLD MAN; as we grew up in the same neighborhood, and he sold candy to us after school working at the neighborhood club. He was in college then; a freshman and we were in junior high.
So, back to our moonlight paddle. HE TRIED TO SINK US...on a very large body of water called Lake Washington.
It must have been near eleven at night when we decided to embark on our expedition.
BACKGROUND FACT: WE GREW UP ON A VERY SMALL MAN MADE LAKE IN ARIZONA. Mikey should have been well versed in the dinghy, as it was those, electric 15 hp pontoon boats, an occasional kayak or canoe or paddleboat on our lake. Mostly the kids used to take the boats out...and the adults sometimes did a cocktail sunset cruise in the pontoon boats.
So, here we are near the arboretum in Seattle, on a clear, dark night...
To be continued...having a late lunch with my mom.
