If you’re anything like me
Next time you feel like you’ve been going through a stretch of time fundamentally categorized by mundanity, as manifested through general lethargy, and long periods of boredness, just turn off the alternative folk records and listen to hardcore instead. How I went this past 4 years without ever once revisiting Daughters’ self-titles 2010 release is quite frankly beyond me. Thankfully fast tempos and heavy guitars, like the sound of an electric hummingbird buzzing frantically while a small herd of elephants dances past, are all I ever really need to feel better
