random seblos post because Theatre Things™ are happening and my life and I'm thinking about them <3,

seb and carlos live separately for about like 9 months after graduating and then cave to moving in with each other lol. they wanted to be independent for a while and they enjoyed it but they wanted to live their silly little broke but we don't care theatre life <3

also Carlos auditions occasionally but focuses more on choreography and directing after high school, meanwhile Seb works backstage while auditioning (and sometimes they'll work another job just depending on how it's going)

and of course one day they're a medium amount of famous and very successful and happy but <3 before that they're living in a tiny apartment working two or three jobs and happy anyway :)

I don’t think I’ll ever be over Seb’s wasted potential. besides just how amazing Joe’s voice is, Seb also had the backstory and setup for more. he’s a theater kid wanting to wear heals, glitter, and makeup, growing up on a farm. He feels out of place there but the theater kids all make fun of him when he brings up the farm. he spends hours hiding in the barn with the animals and away from his family, and he’s so terrified of his family seeing him he nearly gave up. thats s1, in S2:

We learn he doesn’t have a lot of money, especially compared to Carlos,

constantly thinks he’s not good enough,

goes to an out of district school (apparently free in Utah but I still have questions)

he was struck by lightning?!?

constantly being bullied by his teacher In his favorite activity,

goes from the lead to the one role who doesn't sing, despite nailing his audition,

his family doesn’t seem to have returned for the show

in s3 he’s only in one episode, and gets sent home in the middle of the night right before the show? Also, the boy who wishes to leave the farm and perform misses the performing arts camp to stay on the farm. Either his parents said no or he couldn’t afford it, (maybe both).

there is just so much of a story there! Will he ever finally snap at Miss Jenn? Will they ever finish the money plot with Carlos, (it seems they're just going to redo the another boy plot of the third season in a row)? How broke is his family and how does that impact his future plans? Does he do any odd jobs, like holiday grams for extra cash? Maybe filling in for Kourtney over the summer? What happened with the lightning, and I guess medical bills? How does his family feel about him wanting to leave the farm, cause he looked like the youngest and everyone else seems close by? How’d he learn piano? I'd love to meet the animals but we probs won't. He seemed close to Nini but they never went into that. How insecure is he and how does that impact his love of performing? How’d he pull together the Quinceañeo? Why he goes to a different school? Applying there and traveling to and from?

The list keeps growing but he deserves more storylines, there's sooooooo much there and it's all being ignored!
