Hearing the front door shut, Tina turned from doing the dishes offering an exhausted smile to Mike,”Welcome home Mike. How was wo-.” She was quickly cut off when Mike didn’t say a word since he has always been a man of action rather than words. His hands wrapped around her waist tightly, his head dipping against her shoulder whilst he pressed his lips firmly against hers. Tina dropped the last dish into the sink, turning her body around to pay fuller attention to Mike. It had felt like a lifetime since the two ha been able to share a moment like this with them constantly working, forever studying as well as endlessly parenting, they never really had a moment for themselves anymore.

Tina wanted to give Mike her full undivided attention for the few stolen moment that they had. She laced her arms around his neck pulling him closer, needing him to be closer to her. For just a second his lips felt so foreign to her almost as if they had been apart all that time again, but soon enough everything came back to her as her lips curved into a smile only to be reciprocated by Mike.His lips were electric as they sent a jolt through her body and Tina could have sworn that she could feel her lungs fill up with sunshine- just the power Mike had over her. Her kisses were desperate.Her kisses were needy. Her kisses were longing. If she could stay like this forever than Tina knew that she simply would. This was the way Mike told her he loves her.

Her hands brushed through the back of his hair gently as she parted her lips slightly whispering,”I miss you.” Only for Mike’s lips to become more forceful and needing. Tina could feel herself falling deeper into this kiss as if slowly become a battle of dominance. Grips tighten. Kisses deepen. The need for more contact became more desperate. She could feel the hot kisses peppering down her neck something Mike would always do to start, both knowing fully well where it would end. Tina closed her eyes biting down on her lip needing to know that this was going to happen, that they would finally get tangled in the sheets. But as if the world was against them the doorbell wrung and right on queue Joey began crying. The two lovers groaned in frustration rolling their heads back.”Seems like we are never going to catch a break are we?” She murmured into his shoulder regrettably pulling away. “You get the door and I’ll check on the baby?”

Seems like this was how life was going to be from now on.
