When Sebastian agreed to extend a helping hand at the time of emergency, Hunter returned three days later to repay his debt, culminating in a purchase of long term nature. A guide for checking for monsters under the bed By Mia Clarington – Smythe. Age 7

For Huntbastian week, Day 7: Future

Step 1 ) Call Dad and Daddy for help.

“Dad” Mia announced and pushed open the door of her dads’s bedroom. “Honey?!” her Dad spluttered and nudged her daddy “Bas. Stop Mia is here” 

“Mia” her Daddy groaned and came out from under the sheets while her Dad sat up.

“Are you playing naked again?’ Mia asked from where she stood near the door way, her blankie in her left hand and Mr Bear in the right.

Her dads spluttered and groaned.”I told you not to tell her that.” Her Dad told her Daddy.

“Mia why aren’t you in bed?” her Daddy asked as he threw on a t shirt.

“Because monsters.” Mia whimpered.

Step 2) Cookies

Sebastian groaned and looked at his husband, who was as frustrated as him. “I’m sorry .” Hunter replied and kissed the pout off Sebastian’s lips. “I know me too.” Sebastian sighed and threw his head onti his husband’s shoulder. “We need to learn to lock the door”

“But what if she needs us?” Hunter asked as he found his pajamas and wore them, when Mia came back into the room. “Dad, cookies.”

“What?!” he asked as Hunter nudged him in the shoulder as they made their way out of the room. “Come on” Hunter said as he took his husband’s hand “the faster we do this, the faster she sleeps.”

Step 3) Flashlight and net, to catch monsters (if any).

“Ready” Mia called when her dads had arranged a plate full of her favorite cookies. Sebastian groaned and muttered about the wastage of cookies and Hunter gently stamped his foot before leading their daughter out of the room.

“Daddy coming?” Mia asked when she realized that her dad was not there. Sebastian sleepily got up, collecting the torch and his old lacrosse stick and walked towards them.

Mia looked at them and then deemed it alright before leading her dads to her room.

Step 4 ) Proceed with caution (with help from daddies)

Hunter entered his daughter’s room and quickly switched on the lights followed by Sebastian. Their daughter stood near the door way just in case.

They made their way towards her bed and lifted up the downy comforter and bed sheet. No monsters" Sebastian declared. Hunter bent down and flashed the torch under the bed while Sbastian stood gaurd with the lacrosse stick.

“No monsters” Hunter declared and Mia walked slowly towards them.

Step 5) When in doubt check again.

This time Mia herself checked if it truly was monster free and then helped her daddies place the plate of cookies under her bed.

“No monsters.” Mia declared as her Daddy helped her back onto the bed. “Now sleep sweetie” her Dad said as he tucked Mr Bear under her arms.

“But-” she said as her dads left her room. “I promise no monsters” her Daddy replied “And even if they do come to visit, there are cookies for them, so you’ll be alright.” her dad said and blew her a kiss and with that they switched of the lights and Mia closed her eyes.

Step 6) And this is how you deal with monsters

Locked out of Heaven

A/n : Because this awesome fic by Alisha Torn and Hunter's confrontation with the press gave me feels. Title from the Bruno Mars's song of the same name.

Pairing: Huntabastian 

Summary :Everything was changing around them and Sebastian didnt know  what to do. He needed Hunter like he needed air but Hunter didnt want him.

Takes place after the confrontation . Angst

Its not like they haven’t fought before. In fact fights are foreplay for them; a prelude to sex. Snarks, thinly veiled insults and sarcasm, all accompanied with smirky smiles, sexy eye glints and heated touches as they exchanged rough kisses and tore clothes.

But this time it was different. This time they broke up for good. Though they never were actually together in the first place. Just friends who fucked, though they were not even friends.

Sebastian stood and looked across Hunter’s room which was a mess with his things thrown everywhere. He had an hour to clear his shit as Hunter had so eloquently put before they were thrown out of the window.

How did that song go again? Sebastian thought as he gathered his things stuffed it into his backpack. In the two months they were together a lot of Sebastian’s thing found a place with Hunter’s. His sweat pants along with Hunter’s, their blazers and uniform together in the cupboard, two toothbrushes next to each other in the bathroom.

Their ties still hanging from the bedpost due to their activities just last night and now everything had changed.

Like I've been locked out of heaven

Because what started as a quick fuck, mainly because they had needs and the other was available and willing, slowly turned into something else. They were not lovers, they were not friends also but something had changed between them yesterday.

It was different . It was soft and gentle and loving. They made love yesterday as Hunter took care of him, touched him gently, reverently, worshiping him. And now Sebastian paused and blinked away the tear that formed. He’d been locked out of heaven.

Can I just stay here Spend the rest of my days here

He touched a framed photo Hunter had of himself with the Regional’s trophy and with a last glance of to the bed, he turned around to leave and found Hunter standing there looking at him.

“Coming back to check I see Clarington.”Sebastian said as he walked towards the door, to find Hunter blocking it. “ As you can see I’ve cleared out my shit. “Now move so I can leave”

Hunter looked at him and Sebastian saw that he had been crying. He thought that would have made him happy but it made him hurt even more.

“Hunter” he said softly, unable to help himself. “Bas” Hunter whispered out “I’m sorry.”

He took a deep breath and reached out to hold Sebastian’s hand slowly, as if afraid he would be rejected.  “I didn't mean it. I was wrong. I”m so sorry. I was afraid of everything, of you, me and what I was feeling.”

“Please forgive me” he whispered as he looked into Sebastian eyes “I love you.” Sebastian stared back at him, at the boy he loved but who also broke his heart.

“I –“ He tried unable to form any words. “You hurt me” he said softly “and now-“

“I’m sorry” Hunter whispered “You have no idea how sorry.”

“Dont do it again” Sebastian whispered and pulled Hunter towards him, hugging him.“I’ll try not too. I promise.” Hunter whispered and wiped away the tears rolling down Sebastian’s cheeks.
