"Rosie is a trained service dog, she won’t get in your way.” Eurus steps around the patient medium sized grey pittie and back to the table where she has arranged all the documents Mary had provided. “You should introduce yourself to her, in fact, she’ll get bored of you if you just let her check you out for a few minutes. She’s very attentive when strangers are around.” Rosie’s tail has been wagging curiously, despite her unmoving position sitting on the floor near the table. She has been looking between Eurus and Mary since she arrived.

          “I must have been looking too self-assured, in that case, because no one’s offered me help since I got here.” If he’d been wandering around looking lost, however, he definitely would have managed to find such a short, polite, overly helpful person. Damn.

           “And then foist them upon people?” To be entirely fair, Victor has been known to stress-bake heinous quantities of cupcakes and then give them to questionable characters, so perhaps he’s not one to judge. He’s not rightly sure if that’s what’s happening here, but it’s not such a huge leap. “What’s… in it?”

“Like a retreat... or a spa thing?” He’s pretty sure she understand her, and as much as she tried to reassure him, part of him still feels like he’s failed her in some way for her to have made this choice. Instead of asking more questions, Nate rubs his neck and clears his throat. “Do you need any help packing? If.. if you even need to pack that is.”

“Screaming meemies...” he sighs out something akin to a laugh as she cradles Rosie on his lap and cracks a smile while he begins to calm down from the nightmare he’d had. “What kinda name is that?” He’s really laughing now, and even his eyes water with the humour of the term she’d used, but at least he isn’t hyperventilating. He tries to sober his breathing none the less. “I know you’re trying to make me feel better, babe, but these are no joke... I could really hurt you... the dreams get so real I can’t tell I’ve woken up and I’m safe...”
