Photos from the second-alarm residential fire at 1177 Bathurst Street on September 29th, 2025.
Crews battled stubborn flames and smoke that extended into the walls and roof of this house. Eventually, they switched to a defensive strategy due to the structural integrity of the floors becoming compromised. This means they fought the fire from the outside, cutting holes in walls and roofs to access the confined spaces the fire had extended into. Eventually though, the fire was declared under control. No injuries were reported.
