Today, I mentions Mcr to some popular girl at school and she’s like “are they the ones who sing that song… uhh how does it go… I’ll sing it” and she put on a crappy Emo accent (yk what I mean) and sang “to-”and then started giggling abruptly

And I said, “no, you’re singing ‘fall for you’ by second hand serenade”

And she was like “you don’t know what I was about to say” and then continued to sing “fall for you” by second hand serenade

I get that it’s a weird interaction from her perspective, but seriously, trust me, if anyone in art society (the club we were in) is gonna know what stereotypical emo song you’re singing, it’ll be me (I’m one of 2 emos, the other being my best friend)
