Did a thing with my oldest last weekend

She was determined to have her ears pierced (despite her absolute fear of needles). It took a loooooot of patience and a couple tries but she did it!

Wasn’t expecting the backs of my ears to be bruised a week later. Though I guess that explains the tenderness I still have (though it’s not to the piercing site itself).

Also, bless whoever invented flat back earrings. I love you and your invention and the fact I can hold the phone with my shoulder at work without being stabbed by earring posts

but anyway I decided to get my second lobe pierced today because next weekend (June 4th) is my tenth anniversary of being moved out of my moms house! I’ve accomplished so much with the help of my husband, a couple close family members and some of our friends. I’m still deciding who to invite to the picnic I have planned on that day. 🤔 we’re planning to go to the park I lived at back in those times! Super stoked!

(I’m so obsessed with my earring choices, even though the entire bill was a bit pricey 😅 eh, gotta treat yoself!)

Second Lobe Piercings

I got my second lobe piercings done when I was 13. Unfortunately, I got sick soon after and had to take them out. One filled in so I had to get it re-pierced (which hurt more than the first time). After getting it re-pierced, the other one filled in and I havent gotten it re-pierced since.
