This was the kid who was interfering with the puppeteers mission. Before being assigned to capture the three tails' jinchuuriki, Sasori was assigned to get Intel on the Kyuubi. But with Naruto meddling in Sasukes afairs, and Sasuke being linked to Orochimaru-... The redhead wasn't sure how alright Itachi was with him approaching his younger brother. But he didn't care- he needed to sever these ties so he could gather his information without dealing with his old Akatsuki partner. He had tracked the raven-haired boy from Orochimaru's hideout, traveling west, when he finally decided to make himself known. Stepping from the shadows, tucked away in Hiruko, Sasori addressed Sasuke head on. "Uchiha Sasuke," he greeted with Hiruko's low, rumbling voice. "I believe we need to talk."

Here he came. The one they’ll call the last Uchiha. The avenger who reached his goal.

The avenger who regretted reaching his goal.

The masked man brought him in the organization and now the boy was facing his leader, to receive the infamous cloak. He won’t let this to Pein as Nagato wanted to meet him like this.

Read him the same way he could read the leader’s face. See the regret up close, feel it, and have his bitterness expressed.

The one who killed Itachi.

It tore him apart, but he will live with his decision, for everything he loved in Sasuke’s brother. He won’t be staying too long on this earth anymore either - just until things were settled so he could let go.

“What purpose did you join Akatsuki for?” his hoarse voice rang in the hall and the brunet approached.

{ I I I I } --- Pein's pastel gaze flickered over to Sasuke's traveling hand before shifting back over to those cold, black eyes. Was this...a threat?

"Information on the current Akatsuki is none of your concern, you impudent boy. And I can assure you your brother is making it clear that you stay away from him."

His eyes narrowed. "You're wrong...you have no right at all. I'm warning you boy, learn your place or I'll teach it to you."

If this had gone in a different direction, the god might've considered talking to Itachi. But this gesture angered him easily, so it was up to the young Uchiha to make the next move in this electrified conversation.

{ I I I I } --- Pein only winced slightly as he drove the chakra receptor deeper into his shoulder, speeding up the process so he could get this over with already. He was just glad that the young Uchiha didn't ask what exactly he was doing to his body.

"That is because you're standing before a god," he pointed out emotionlessly, "But I can assure you that I exist."

Once all of the discoloration was rid from his distressed veins, Pein slid the rod out quickly and all that remained was a closed wound. He absolutely hated when he was forced to use the Rinnegan on himself, for his intention was to use his power for or on others.

After he stood up straight once more, he glanced over at the other as he cast away the used up chakra receptor. "Are you just going to stand there with your mouth still open like a fish? You obviously have something else to say..."

Their son looked so cute, a chubby face, fluffy black hair, dark eyes, and a pouty face like no one else. But in the end he was much like Sasuke. Calm, cool, but still friendly. And he was clumsy, falling over his own feet, but then he usually brushed the dust off his clothes, sighing. He was a mix out of both of them, and usually fun to watch.

Today was a warm sunny autumn day. Kurō was holding onto Obito’s hand, while they walked through the Uchiha district. They finally found Itachi together with Sasuke not far away, fixing up a fence. It was adorable how Itachi dragged Sasuke around, making him help others. Not that Sasuke would fight against Itachi’s orders, but it was somewhat still cute seeing Sasuke being covered in paint, on all fours, trying to paint the fence in a white colour.

Kurō gasped excited seeing his beloved uncle. It seemed he got this from Sasuke, being extremly in love with Itachi. “Hey, Sasu-chan”, Obito purred, letting Kurō run free, to takle hug Sasuke, snuggling against him. “We are here to go and search for pretty leaves. I bet you want to join us. You got good eyes.” He smirked at Sasuke, waiting for him to join them. The fence was almost fixed, so Itachi wouldn‘t have need to work much more.
