                             ⚔  ▸▸    What was supposed to be a simple task has become a problematic obstacle within his day, disrupting his routine, a stretched-out and staggering moment that Lass has no resolution to fix. Instead, stared at the simple and small parchment n his hand, in wonderment and blank state what he SHOULD write, even if a small note what he should write down. He wasn’t aware of the Pharaoh himself was lacking in the memory department, and he was both resilient and vigilant in what he does… what else was there that demanded Lass’s attention to give a NOTICE for him during his absence for his next mission?   

                                              N O T H I N G  came to mind.                      

                      He had suggested to himself to place more effort into their relationship, how he should go about it remains elusive as ever. Not one to be affectionate or display it fully. Lass Isolet was subtle and wanted to be Heartfelt as possible, it doesn’t mean he ought to be cheesy and full-blown out on display. Even if he wished to show he cared, it has to have a meaning. Besides, he wasn’t one for words or simple craftsmanship in pens and letters on paper. A warrior act out on their instincts. He wasn’t going to change and become someone he’s not…yet, he felt he had an idea what to write, with a small S M I L E and he wrote down:

Atem,

I’ll be back soon, don’t forget to take care of yourself. Yell at Seth if he’s being insufferable. With all of my heart.

Thank GOODNESS for Yuugi's mother for helping the former Pharaoh into making this delicious and sweet looking red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting for his sweet Valentine, Ruby. There was a big grin on Atem's face as he presented the cake to him. "Happy Valentine's Day, Ruby! I do hope you like it~"

Ruby stuttered in excitement seeing the gorgeous red and pink cake. The first thing he did was move closer and give Atem a smooch as sweet as the cake. “H-H-Happy V-V-V-Valentine’s D-Day to y-you too, l-love!”

“L-like it? I l-l-love it! And I l-love you s-s-s-so much, Atem! It’s b-b-b-beautiful!” Ruby’s eyes gleamed happily as he took a closer look at the cake. As a pastry chef he recognized good craftmanship, and this was certainly it.

Ruby showed a cake he had made for Atem as well, one with different types of chocolate. Even the small figures on top of the cake, having Ruby and Atem’s likeness, were made of chocolate and frosting. Surrounding the figures were their favorite objects and themes. He laughed softly when he realized they both had made cakes for the other and that they would have enough to eat for at least a week.

“T-t-thank you so m-m-much!” Ruby smooched again, absolutely smitten by the former pharaoh. “I c-c-c-can’t wait to t-t-taste y-your c-c-cake, together~”

                    ✣ 「 ヴェン」 ❦❧ ─  This was... not exactly the situation Ventus had expected to find himself in, when he’d promised to come back and visit Yuugi and Yami... and well... trouble seemed to either attracted to HIM or his friend. In an arena... surrounded by fire and his legs are cuffed to some holding devices as his friend Yuugi... no wait it was Yami the other one who have taken control. yeah... having learnt it was two in one body... it have taken a while to get used to, but it didn’t bother Ventus because, he’d seen stranger things in life. But this takes the cake...

                                         “Uh....y-you... mean me and...playing cards?”

           Giving that ‘Are you crazy’ look? Great Kingdom Hearts, these people take card games way too serious. And using threats and flames thrower too?! It was not like he had a choice, here the blond was just for a visit, having just barely time of reprieve before his own war at home, to dragged into a battle that certainly was mean for his friend with the outrageous hair style. “Y-you’re kidding right? I... I DON’T EVEN KNOW THE FIRST THING ABOUT THIS GAME!!” He’d certainly watched his friend played on several occasions, knowing which cards he favored, but this was just... Ventus hoped to whatever higher beings up there, that these guys doesn’t know he didn’t have a dec---

                         “We know you have a deck, blondie.” Siiiiiiiiigh..... busted.

        "It’s inevitable you can’t turn down a duel---” And Ventus only interrupts them, well they interrupted his thought first, “I don’t have this duel disk thingy----” Oh gods... the smiles on their face was sinister enough they got that out sorted too. The young Master only pouted at Yami, with a look that says, ‘that’s some super creepy enemy you have there, buddy,’ creepy stalkers. Yikes. the other man was in no different position from himself too, cuffed by the ankle by metal holdings. Forced into some sort of... ‘tag duel’ whatever that is.

Getting to the mall took no time at all. Otogi knew he had lots of clubbing clothes at home, so he didn’t necessarily need an entire outfit. His friend, on the other hand, needed the whole deal. 

“So what do you think you’ll go for?” He asked, leading his friend to a particular store. “I’ve seen you in a lot of leather before. Leather’s good for clubs if you only plan on being there for a short time.”

You know, like when Otogi picked up his one night stands. 

“Otherwise it gets too hot and it’s too hard to peel it off to go to the bathroom after you’ve been dancing for a while.”

               Someone is calling out a certain affectionate starved Pharaoh here.

                    ⚔  ▸▸  「 “This is.....” 」 How does one describe this situation?

           The adamant desire to garner his attention... was more than a bit overwhelming. He doesn’t know when to GIVE UP his summoner is rather too ATTACHED to him. Choosing the wrong person to make a contract with... the last person to show an ounce of affection. When.. the bitter realization fact, Lass Isolet didn’t know the next thing about affection, attachment, love or anything along the line... to him, it was uncharted territory.

                                      「 “Do you mind? This is a bit too much.” 」

            Maybe it is the reason why, the First Blade is very adamant in not making that contract, so that little boy, chosen by the Gods didn’t grow up, clinging and attached to him. Thinking there’s more to their relationship than there is. Unfortunately, a blessing or curse, Lass couldn’t find the heart to break off their arrangement or... allow what he’d felt to bestow upon another innocent; the CRUSHING of hope look. Perhaps he ought to stretch the length of his absent longer. Then maybe Atem would understand the message clearer. After all... Lass wanted no attachments. But, it was too late.... wasn’t it?
