WE'RE ALL STILL HERE

Well, the Mayan Doomsday has passed and we're all still here.  All the better for us since the song we wrote about the not end of the world has garnered some praise over the last couple weeks.

"It's Not The End Of The World (It Just Feels That Way)" has been chosen as the Song of the Week by blogs Another Rainy Saturday and Secretly-Important.  The song also saw airplay on Portland's KZME a mere hour after completion of its final mix.

There is clearly a lesson in opportunism in there somewhere.

"All At Once" is on Secretly-Important's Best Of 2012 List.  There are some really great records included here, and we'll be sure to check out the ones we aren't already familiar with.   Can't hurt to size up the competition, right?  Full list below.

"Some bands hit you hard and fast in the face, they don’t let up until you’re laying on the floor and they burn out like a stray rocket.  Some bands rock you to sleep with simple melodies that repeat over and over like a soft rain.  Then you have bands like TTTT that plant a seed, and let it grow.  It thrusts through the dirt, sprouting leaves, and eventually blooming before it spreads more seeds and dies.  The instruments naturally build upon each other until you reach a kind of terminal velocity where you cruise until the songs beautiful conclusion."
