Clark loves his mama. He will always be there for her and his supernatural powers will definitely be helpful in protecting her from any potential threats. “No one’s gonna hurt you, no one’s gonna dare. Others can desert you, not to worry, whistle I’ll be there. I can do it, put me to it. Show me something I can overcome. Not to worry, mum. I would never hide a thing from you.”

Oh god another “I love my mom” song I’m so sorry. This one is more about where Clark wants to go in his life and what he feels like he has to prove. He’s not a problem child like Aladdin seems to be in this song, but Clark definitely feels inadequate. “You'll see, Ma, now comes the better part. Someone's gonna make good, cross his stupid heart. Make good and finally make you proud of your boy. There's no good reason that you should believe me. Not yet, I know, but someday and soon. I can't make myself taller or smarter or handsome or wise. I'll do my best, what else can I do.”

So this song is mostly about Hamilton’s accomplishments through his great writing ability, but I think that it shows a great loneliness in him and the huge burdens that were placed on him because of his talents. It also talks a lot about the destruction of his family and childhood that Clark could relate to. “When I was seven a hurricane destroyed my town. I didn’t drown, I couldn’t seem to die. I wrote my way to revolution. When my prayers to god were met with indifference, I wrote my own deliverance. When I was twelve, my mother died. She was holding me.”

An iconic song about missing a home you didn’t appreciate until you left it behind. For Clark, it also touches on the fact that he has two wildly different places to call home. “When I think of home, I think of a place where there's love overflowing. I wish I was home. It would sure be nice to be back home where there's love and affection. I have had my mind spun around in space. And yet I've watched it growing. Living here, in this brand new world might be a fantasy. But it taught me to love so it's real, real to me.”

I know that Superman was created with heavy influences from Jewish culture, so I wanted to include this musical and represent that part of his story. This one’s sweet and romantic. Clark has a wonderful family despite all of his hardships, but he’s so in love with and devoted to Lois. “I have something that I would die for. Someone that I can live for. Now I have everything. Not only everything, I have a little bit more. Besides having everything, I know what everything's for.”

Yes of course! In just about every form too. I am obsessed with musicals and instrumental music and rock bands. Among my favorite artists are Dali and Van Gogh. I love dark plays and happy plays. I adore writers obviously. Museums are a happy place. Absolutely yes.

Awww what can’t I say about you? You’re one of the best friends I’ve ever had and I love you so much! You inspire me all the time with your outlook on life and your perseverance. I’m so glad that we both went to Europe because without that trip, I don’t know if we would have grown as close as we did. And I don’t know what I’d do if that hadn’t happened. So much of who I am and what I love comes from how much time we’ve spent together and how much I love you. ^_^ I miss you a lot right now but I’m so proud of everything you’ve accomplished in college so far and I know you’re gonna do amazing things.

Hades - do you believe in life after death?

I would really like to believe in life after death and I’d like to have faith that I’ll be happy and comfortable and able to do whatever I’d like to once I clock out. But I’m very much a “see it to believe it” sort of person, and even once I do see things, I still don’t quite believe them. I feel like there has to be something. I can’t conceptualize how life would just stop, but I also can’t conceptualize what life was like before I was born. So maybe I will just completely not have an existence anymore? I don’t know what that would be like though, so believing in a sort of heaven is a lot more understandable, I think.
