Don't mind me. I'm building my first react.js project and I need a sample of an Instagram Carousel from their API situation (and hella text). Do-dammit-not judge my code lol. Im going to refactor all of this later. You can thank Airbnb linter for all of those red lines that look like I misspelled every last thing in that file. I'm going to fix that too. I'm enjoying learning react.js. I took a paid course last year because I wanted to take my tax bracket to the next level. In 2016 I got a job at a startup company that was building a mobile banking app for 3rd world countries. I built 2 super custom WordPress sites there that were far more complex than anything I'd ever done because the site had to work with the app and a few other 3rd party situations plus it had to be displayed in multiple languages... and it had to load fast on old iPhones because that's mostly what's used in 3rd world countries. It was a lot of work and I loved it. I learned a lot there. A ton. Took my skillset up multiple levels. That was the first time Ive worked with anybody who had a LOT more web development knowledge than I did.. FINALLY! I was so happy. The majority of my co-worker on my side of the building, I considered more "advanced" than me. They were working on/with all kinds of shit I never heard of. I loved it. They introduced me to a bunch of JavaScript Frameworks and libraries I never had time to investigate. I had to learn what they all did while I worked there because somebody was working with somebodies some Framework/library I never heard of that needed to work with the site some how. Often. I noticed that eventually I would have to start building websites and apps that worked using multiple data sources. I'd have to step outside of WordPress to do that. BUT.. still be able to use WordPress as a data source (because it's smart). I'm a WordPress expert lol, I'm not throwing all of this away lol. The wp api is great and I'm using it for my data source for my react.js projects I build. So now I build progressive web apps built on react.js. and eventually apps with react native #securethebagalert. I can't wait to push this project live. #pricesgoingup #NeedaNewBenz (at Los Angeles, California)
