Misto Weekend Feast at Seda Manila Bay Returns With 5+1 Promotion
Seda Manila Bay has just relaunched the Misto Weekend Feast which is now available starting June 5, 2026. This much beloved buffet is finally back at Misto with an all new lineup of international dishes that will bring delightful flavors to your weekend.
The Misto Weekend Feast is available every Friday and Saturday for dinner from 6:00pm to 10:00pm for P1,800 net per person. It is also open for Sunday lunch from 12:00nn to 2:30pm for P1,500 net. As a welcome back treat for its guests, for every group of five paying adults, you can get one buffet for free! Kids 6 years old and below also get their buffet for free. The Hungry Kat was invited to the opening launch of this weekend buffet last Friday and we were excited to try it out for ourselves, especially since this was also our first time to visit Seda Manila Bay.
Seda Manila Bay is a 350-room hotel in Parañaque’s Entertainment City, offering front-row views of stunning sunsets. Blending business and leisure facilities, it’s ideal for families and travelers alike, especially since it's just 20 minutes away from NAIA. It's actually connected to Ayala Malls Manila Bay, so guests can easily go to the mall and have access to everything they need.
Misto is the hotel's signature all-day dining restaurant which offers buffet and a la carte options. Enjoy a thoughtfully designed dining space that brings people together over good food and easy conversation. It's open from 6:00am to 10:00pm daily serving Filipino and international favorites. Misto offers a relaxed atmosphere perfect for any occasion, from casual meals to meaningful gatherings throughout the day.
The restaurant is quite big with its seating capacity of 220 guests. It also comes with a semi-private dining area for small groups and important celebrations.
The Misto Weekend Feast is only available for Friday and Saturday dinner as well as Sunday lunch. For the other days, Misto offers its a la carte menu for their guests. We were happy to be one of the first guests to experience the relaunch last June 5.
The buffet comes with appetizers, main courses, and desserts located throughout different international stations. Let's start with a selection of canapés, hams and cheese.
Beside this is a Make Your Own Tacos station where you can customize your own set of tacos and ingredients.
I liked their Filipino street food corner which offers some of our favorite Filipino street food delicacies like fishballs, squid balls, kikiam, crispy kangkong, lumping Shanghai, and tokwa't baby. It comes complete with various dipping sauces.
Over at the international section, you can find other appetizers like the Baked Mussels, Calamari, and Crispy Crablets.
There's a Chinese dimsum station as well with its siomai, siopao, and chicken feet. The Misto Weekend Feast also has a colorful lineup of assorted Japanese sushi so you can pick your favorites.
Over at the main buffet table, you can find some Western appetizers and side dishes like the Buffalo Chicken, Sausage Wrapped in Bacon, Potato Wedges, and Onion Rings.
Italian dishes are also featured at the buffet with the Four Cheese Pizza, Margherita Pizza, Baked Mac, and the Creamy Carbonara which I really enjoyed.
Can you believe those are just the starters? Now let's try some of the main courses at the Miso Weekend Feast.
One of my favorites was this Grilled Salmon dish prepared with cherry tomatoes and onions. This was a popular dish that evening and many of the guests kept getting seconds.
Some of the meaty items include the Roasted Chicken with Chimichurri and the Pork Ribs in Barbecue Sauce. I was really impressed with the quality and flavors of the dishes offered at the buffet.
You can also pair these with the Nasi Goreng which is an Indonesian fried rice mixed with various ingredients.
There's more Japanese food here on display including the Ebi Tempura, Kani Tempura, and Vegetable Tempura.
The two main highlights of the Misto Weekend Feast are the Lechon Belly and the Roast Chuck Eye Beef at the carving station. The lechon belly was so crispy and juicy.
On the other hand, the Roast Beef is so tender and flavorful. You can also have it seared a little bit by the chefs on the spot if you prefer.
Don't forget about the desserts because there are plenty of sweet treats to choose from. You can find various Filipino desserts like assorted kakanin, ube bars, cakes, chocolate tart, eclairs, cream puffs, cheesecakes, and more.
Drinks are also included in the buffet price. There's bottomless cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and house blend iced tea.
We also saw the servers singing a very cheerful happy birthday song to one of the guests. The Misto Weekend Feast is truly a great option for families and friends looking to have a relaxing and delightful get together during the weekend. Book your tables now at this link because the 5+1 promotion is only available until September 6, 2026. See you there!

Seda Vertis North Celebrates Its 5th Anniversary with Glitz and Glam
Seda Vertis North, the largest and most premier hotel in Northern Manila, just celebrated its fifth year in the hospitality industry since its opening in 2017. Awarded with a five-star rating by the Department of Tourism, Seda Vertis North exemplifies Filipino hospitality at its finest—weaving together excellent location, exceptional value, and seamless experiences to create a sense of home for all its guests. Situated at the heart of Quezon City’s business district, it’s the perfect hub for meetings, conferences, as well as social gatherings and large celebrations.
With the theme of “Glitz and Glam,” the event was graced by the presence of AyalaLand Hotels and Resorts Corp.’s President and CEO Javier Hernandez, Seda Hotels Group officers, Andrea Mastellone, Melissa Carlos, Wilma Estaura and Seda Vertis North’s Management Committee Chirstian Pirodon, Virgie Gula, Maricar De Ocampo, and Clarice Sy. Also included in the hotel’s esteemed guest list are Ms. Sharlene Zabala-Batin, Department of Tourism Regional Director for NCR and Mr. Ivannovich Agote, OIC – Chief Tourism Operations Officer, Tourism Regulation Division.
The 5th Anniversary celebration was poised as a thanksgiving celebration with corporate clients, frequent guests, brand partners, and relevant stakeholders deserving of a grand gathering styled with a sumptuous buffet by the hotel’s culinary team, paired with signature cocktails from Destileria Limtuaco.
“With the current times rapidly changing, Seda Vertis North has come a long way facing its share of successes and challenges. We are truly hopeful for an optimistic insight recovering from these difficult times that we faced during this two-year pandemic. More growth for the tourism industry and the Philippines at large is what we expect for the coming years ahead,” Seda Vertis North General Manager Christian Pirodon said during his welcome remarks, adding that the five-star hotel is more ready than ever to “provide excellent service and quality experience to our stakeholders.”
The guests were also surprised with a mini-concert from Asia’s Soul Siren, Nina, who entertained everyone with her commanding voice and presence. With the various luxuries and amenities the hotel offers, Seda Vertis North not only remains to be the city’s premier venue for conferences, meetings, weddings, debuts, and other large celebrations—it’s also a favored staycation destination of families residing in Metro Manila. Congratulations Seda Vertis North on your 5th Anniversary!
Straight Up at Seda Vertis North Offers The Best Rooftop Dining Experience in Quezon City
Al fresco dining venues have become much more popular during the last two years. You can find them all around the metro as restaurants offer these open-air dining options to their more health-conscious guests. But there are very few places that can offer both the relaxing ambiance of an al fresco restaurant plus the fantastic views of a roofdeck bar. This one in Quezon City takes guests on a colorful adventure 24 floors high.
Straight Up is an elegant and refreshing roofdeck bar and restaurant located at the 24th floor of Seda Vertis North. There aren’t that many great hotels on this side of Quezon City so Seda Vertis North really changed the landscape with its five-star amenities and services. We already had a staycation at the hotel once before the pandemic started, so it was so nice to be back here again, this time to experience their charming rooftop venue.
Straight Up is open daily from 4:00pm to 12:00mn to cater to guests who want a relaxing ambiance on top of the busy city. Seda Vertis North is just a stone’s throw away from the Trinoma Mall and Ayala Mall Vertis North, so Quezon City residents can invite their friends and family to a more exclusive and secluded location without having to travel too far away from the city.
The al fresco dining area is where guests usually gather for a refreshing drink or a satisfying dinner. There is ample parking at the hotel basement so no need to stress over your parking slot, unlike when you visit the nearby malls. The elevator from the basement will take you directly to Straight Up. There is also an indoor dining area for those occasions when the weather is not too cooperative.
I met up with Allyssa Dizon, Communications Manager for Seda Vertis North, last Friday at Straight Up to welcome the coming weekend. It was my first time to go up to the 24th floor and I was really surprised with its delightful atmosphere and laid-back vibe.
Most restaurants now use contactless menus using QR Codes for safety measures, but Straight Up takes this one step further with their portable menu on wheels! Instead of trying to read the menus on your small mobile phones, the servers will bring this giant menu board right to your table. I like this setup so much better.
As the sun sets over the horizon, Straight Up offers a beautiful and romantic place to watch the sunset while enjoying their lineup of colorful cocktails. I ordered the Drink of the Month called Luscious Orange (P350). This is a refreshing blend of vodka and orange that comes with the right balance of sweet and sour.
They also have plenty of Classic Cocktails on the list like the Midori Sour (P350) plus other favorites including Cosmopolitan, Daiquiri, Long Island Iced Tea, Mojitos and more.
For our appetizers, we started with the Spinach and Artichoke Dip (P245). This creamy artichoke dip served with toasted bread and nacho chips. These are good to share with the group.
There’s also the Pork Rilette (P330) with its slow-cooked pork belly served with baguette, mustard and cornichon.
If you want a little bit of everything, order their Charcuterie Board (P385) which comes with assorted cured meats served with cornichon, crackers, and freshly baked bread and dijon mustard.
Now it’s time for the barbecues! Seda Vertis North heats up the summer with their BBQ Nights at Straight Up from April 1 to June 30, 2022. Relax and unwind at the top of the city with a medley of grilled dishes like the Beef Skewers (P520). All items are served with steamed rice or mashed potatoes and comes with tomato salsa, soy sauce and vinegar dip, or chimichurri sauce.
I ordered these Grilled Prawns (P630) for myself since I love eating seafood. The prawns were plump and juicy, just the way I like them.
The highlight of our BBQ Night was the Grilled Black Angus US Ribeye Steak (P1800). This has 250 grams of tender and flavorful ribeye steak that was cooked with medium doneness. The steak was even better than the previous one I had a week ago at BGC that was more than double the price. Seda Vertis North really offers a great alternative for those living in Quezon City because you can all enjoy these luxuries without going to Makati or BGC.
Other grilled favorties at the BBQ Nights at Straight Up include Peri-Peri Chicken, Pinoy Pork BBQ, Baby Back Ribs, and more. These are more than enough reasons for me to come back next time.
Aside from the grilled specialties, there are many other delicious items on the menu. The Beef Salpicao (P465) is another meaty dish that goes well with garlic rice.
Then there’s the Roasted Pork Knuckles (P1000) which goes well with any occasion. This very tasty crispy pata can serve as one of your bar chows while relaxing with your friends.
Straight Up offers a distinct charm in the evening with its romantic lights and chill vibe. We ended up chatting well into the night so we had to order a few more rounds of drinks!
The Singapore Sling (P350) is an iconic cocktail that I usually order at the Raffles Makati so I was happy to find another version here. I also had a taste of their Red Sangria (P350) and White Sangria (P350) which really left a good impression.
We would like to thank Allyssa Dizon and Clarice Sy, Director of Sales at Seda Hotels, for hosting our dinner and drinks at Straight Up. It was fun to be enjoying these experiences once again as the city finally opens up and guests troop back to their favorite dining spots. We’ll surely be back here at Seda Vertis North to explore their other dining establishments. See you around!
