"No Votes on Greenlight Don't Do Anything"
I've been informed some people are still upset about us saying that No votes on greenlight can affect getting on steam. This was my understanding of it at the time, but people also need to look at it in the context of what happened.
I did not believe they have "no effect", and I still stand by that in the context of the attempted boycott, and I hope you will hear me out on this. A No vote might only take it out of the queue, sure. But someone who would have potentially come across the game on their own and voted "yes" (because they are voting on DAPPER SWINE'S GAME and not my personal beliefs) now voting no for arbitrary and stupid reasons would have affected us getting on steam, period. To say a "no vote has no effect" without thinking about a potential yes vote being converted to a no vote for something that has nothing to do with the merit of the game is ignoring what happened to Jason and myself. We did not bring Seedscape into Gamergate, the people against gamergate brought Seedscape into it. It's more than likely that Total Biscuit is correct when he said that No votes have no effect other than removing it from the queue, but he wasn't talking about a vote going from Yes to No because "Jennifer is a Shitlord" being an okay thing, he made that clear by what he did.
Som anti GG chump wanting to throw a female developer out from the industry.
I-it's actually about keeping women out from the gaming boy's club!
The game in question is SeedScape, a sickeningly kawaii Harvest Moon-like with multiplayer capabilities and some combat. It's on Greenlight on Steam so go vote YES to inclusion of female devs, independent indie devs, and last but not least; quality vidya gaems!
