It's a dance-first kinda day today. I popped in this disc and the music already has me so pumped!! ✌🏽️🎶🙆🏽 Nostalgia is such a funny thing, right? This music gets me ready to sweat and have fun and burn those kcals without even thinking about it. And when I work out with #TonyHorton, I mentally go back to staring him in the eyes during the #superworkout in #Nashville... I could think of nothing else at the moment other than "don't give up, don't let him see you fail, don't let him down!" 😅 Of course, it's really about not letting ME down! But the adrenaline rush from one thought helps pay off the other. And then there's running...my newest thing/challenge. It's foreign to me, a great big ol' Land of the Unknown. So what gets me through it? Well, it's quite simple: where others create special playlists from regular songs, I use my preset @beachbodylive tracks from #cizelive and #p90xlive to get me through! Gotta go with what's familiar right? The first round albums for each of those live workouts takes me physically and mentally back to the room where I was trained to be an instructor in each format. I see my POV from that day, I hear the music that was in that room, I see my fellow instructors training by my side, and THAT, my friends, is a special place to be...
