I’ve come to realize that my biggest flaw is how much I want to believe that everyone I meet is kind, genuine, forgiving, and caring. I always expect the best in people, thinking they all have good intentions and want to help others. But the truth is, some people aren’t as real as I’d like to think. I take them at face value, trusting what they show me, only to find out later that some of them are just pretending, hiding their true selves behind masks. It’s tough because I want to see the good in people, but over time, I’ve learned the hard way that not everyone is what they seem. It leaves me feeling a bit more guarded, though I still wrestle with the urge to believe in the goodness of others.
