Why don't you want a trine? Aren't they a really big part of Seeker culture?

I just don’t want one! I don’t even like when people talk about them. I don’t know why… It gives me a terrible feeling. Even when they tell nice stories, I just want to go and cry. I guess they’re a big part of our culture, but only the Air Command had them officially, so I won’t be expected to have one. Which is fine with me.

IMPORTANT: Spell/Ritual Specificity

I just heard a story of a man who lost his faith in the Goddess(es) and God(s) because he was immensely hurt, emotionally. He performed a spell to find his one true love and then met a guy with whom he fell in love. They were together for some time before this man discovered his true love was cheating on him. Needless to say, the relationship fell apart and he was heartbroken. He blamed the Goddess(es) and God(s) for what happened, asking how they could let something like that happen? How could they lack compassion like that? The thing is, he cast a spell to find his true love. The Gods did just that, they provided his true love. He did not ask the Gods to find a true love who would be faithful and who would also see this guy as HIS true love. The Gods did exactly as they were asked, nothing less, nothing more. I cannot stress enough, SPELL SPECIFICITY IS SO IMPORTANT. Your intent and your desires must be clear and as detailed as possible. Please be aware of this while calling on your Deities to provide for you. This man saw what happened as a punishment instead of a lesson. Everything that happens is a lesson to be learned or a lesson for you to teach another. Whether you like it or not. Be well, and keep up the magick. Let’s make this world better one SPECIFIC spell at a time.

I’m a citizen of Vos. Why wouldn’t I get blasters? 

I don’t want to be a soldier, especially if I had to get a Trine. Right now I’m working on our archives, and later on, who knows? It’s not like there are that many jobs at the moment, besides construction, and I’m not good at that. That’s why I’m studying hard and also being an archivist, so I can help with the restoration that way.

Tip for the modern witch

Cleansing of sacred tools, be it wands, athames, crystals, etc., can be done in a variety of ways from using the beautiful and humbling energy of the full moon to using one of the five sacred elements (earth, water, fire, air, and spirit). Let’s talk about cleansing with water for a second. I made this realization the other day and had to share in case anyone else found it as useful and I did!

First thing to know is that using regular water won’t cleanse a thing. It will make it wet. That is, until you’ve blessed it and even charged it with a non-soluble crystal or in the light of the full moon. Some items, such as particular crystals, can NOT be cleansed with water without risk of being destroyed (selenite, calcite, etc.).

But for those things that can be cleansed of negative and residual energies with holy water, a lot of times we read that we must sprinkle the water on the item, or maybe even dunk it. To me, this seems highly tedious. Especially if it’s something I have to dry off later. As a busy witch who utilizes various methods from traditional to modern, I wanted to offer this effective modern witch tip for cleansing via water.

If you have a diffuser/humidifier at your disposal, get yourself some charged/blessed holy water and place it in the diffuser. When you turn it on, pass your item through the mist counterclockwise (if you’re in the northern hemisphere) three times, so it knows to release any residual and negative energy. If you're a Young Living essential oil user, add a couple drops of Purification for an extra POW of magickal cleansing. The combination of the blessed water and the herbal properties of Purification oil will leave your item as a blank slate for you to consecrate and bless with your intent.

It’s a simple and effective way to cleanse your tools without having to get them very wet, and you will ritually cleanse yourself from the inside out as well, as you breathe in the healing, cleansing mist.

❤ : What are your muse’s thoughts on love? If they are not in a relationship, do they believe that they will ever find a perfect someone for them? (Additionally: familial love or platonic love? Or love for something and not someone?)

Cirrus understands love pretty much in a familial context. It’s a word he applies to Shockwave and Starscream, signifying his connection to them, and his desire to learn from them and make them proud. He feels much closer to them than simply a mentor type relationship - he considers them family. It really hurts him that he can’t be around Shockwave and spend time with him the way he does with Starscream. He’s beginning to understand some of the bittersweet aspects of his feelings, such as his growing realization that both Starscream and Shockwave have done terrible things, and continue to struggle with their past. He’s had friction with Starscream in particular, and has even felt it’s hard to like Starscream sometimes, but he sees love as a reason to find ways to support him and help everyone get better. His greatest desire is for everyone he cares about to be together, and he has no idea just how impossible that might be.

Cirrus also loves his friends, and wants to gain skills to help them too. He knows the war affected everyone, and he wants to do his part to help them have a new life, and even to take his turn to fight if they need him.

He recognizes Starscream’s love for Vos, and takes pride in his contributions toward rebuilding. Cirrus’s love for Vos originated in his admiration of Starscream, but he increasingly feels a sense of ownership and pride all his own. 

As for romance, Cirrus hasn’t even considered it. It hasn’t come up, and it’s not something prevalent in the culture he’s being raised in. It’s not an important aspect of Cybertronian society, and he doesn’t really understand what little he has seen in earth media on the internet. He’s never considered if he’ll one day have a relationship like that, or any sort of formalized relationship at all, even a platonic one. The only one he’s considered is a Trine, and he knows he doesn’t want one. He feels a tremendous amount of anxiety around the whole idea of Trines, and often gets a horrible feeling when other Seekers talk about them, sometimes leading to periods of extended loneliness, anxiety, and depression. He thinks maybe he feels pressured, even though he knows he won’t be expected to Trine if he’s not an Air Command officer, which he’s not interested in anyway. He just wants to figure out his place in the world on his own, and have normal friends.

Trines are over-rated. Do not be upset over your lack of desire to staple yourself to two other mechs who may or may not drive you insane.

I’m not upset I don’t want one, I’m just… I suppose you could say upset… about Trines in general. Are they really annoying like that? And over-rated? Maybe that’s why I don’t like the idea… I don’t know though. Everyone that’s told me about them made them sound good. I just feel really awful when they’re telling me, so much that I want to fly away and hide. 

I guess I’m also kind of worried what the other Seekers, and Starscream, would think if they knew I felt this way… Phoenix said the things I feel are ok, but what if Starscream is… disappointed?
