The wind blew through the trees as the sun crested over them. A group of men came running out of the woods, their faces pale and their weapons broken. This had been a common thing now for men to go into the woods and run out worse than they had been going in. There were tales of a spirit who would chase men out. Children were told not to enter. Men went in claiming it was a fable or that they would make the ghost fear them. The whole village was spooked.
