6. Favorite Band
that’s a difficult one. I don’t have a favourite band as such anymore (and one day I'll tell the story of the days when I was in a travelling fandom and how we travelled to all kinds of concerts of our favourite band) but I can tell you about my favourite musician instead.
I love the music by Swiss singer Stephan Eicher he does loads of different things in different languages (Swiss German, French, English, German mostly) and in all kinds of styles, he started out with minimalist electronic music, had a world music phase, did loads of accoustic concerts but can also ROCK. His concerts are always a surprise because you never quite know what you’ll get. It’s quite hard to narrow his stuff down but I just found “L’Exception”
and dear lord was he dreamy 10 years ago… beautiful song, Sherlockian curls and a voice that brings me to my knees. Campari Soda. Yes please. Also: that’s how my mother tongue sounds like. It never sounds more beautiful than this. It’s a dreamy song about being on an aeroplane and the plane gliding through the skies.
16. Favorite movie
I love “Girl on the Bridge" it’s a French film about a girl who wants to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge, a luckless circus performer saves her and together they travel around and she starts being the target for his knife-throwing-act. Together they are lucky and win and when they separate all goes to hell again.
