Edythe avoiding Art hit him hard. She was like his little sister. She was his friend. And he could not figure out why she would avoid him. He tried to be kind, and a good person. And she had certainly seen him at his worst.
He did something though, and the more she avoided him, and the longer she wasn’t there, the more it took its toll. He approached Guinevere about it, and ended up crying into her shoulder as she held him after he told her what was going on. She offered him the most assurances he could, but they did little.
He knew he would have to talk to Edythe somehow. He just didn’t want her to feel as though she had to talk to him. He was at a loss, and that only made it worse.
