—”Remember when I told you to stop busying and tiring yourself so much when it’s not too important? At least not for our home? You could just do something instead like, cuddling with your favorite man of all time along with your two cute dogs who need their weekly grooming.”

He honestly just wanted to spend more time with him instead of having him deal with housework for the time being and who could resist spending time with their significant other while brushing their pets?

The small child was looking up at his older brother, gaze akin to that of a lost puppy’s. He wasn’t trying to get in the way, wasn’t trying to cause Gohan any problems, but it felt like he saw his older brother less and less as time went on. 

It was so early that the sun was still asleep, and as Goten crept outside after his brother he could see him doing the thing. The thing that always made their mother so angry, the thing that made it looked like he was wrapped in shimmering flames. 

It was mesmerizing, to the point that Goten didn’t really think before stepping closer to reach out and grab at him-
