I think there might be some differences, though I couldn’t tell you how vast they are x)

Aside from Tabernacle which we in France hear of fairly often when Quebec French comes in the conversation, I know Quebec French sometimes does literal translations from english, such as saying c’que tu peux être épais for how thick can you get where France French would use ce que tu peux être bête (or c’que tu peux être long.ue à la détente)

So it might be a game worth playing ;)

A ski lift is something much more specific, though, isn’t it? Smaller, too. 

I have on good authority that these things were around in 1931. Well, in the Alps, anyway.

I loved Spin Control. I should reread it and comment by chapter >.< or maybe read the hunger games first heh.. Ugh I'm terrible with surnames when creating characters, I'm impressed you did all that so fast. You even created a story w/ the character.          

I have an easier time with American surnames than German ones. Less associations to take into account, probably? I dunno. But thanks! :D I couldn’t do it without a story. I dunno, the two things are too connected to me. 

You should absolutely reread SC and leave me comments! :D I am in favor of that plan. :D And pshaw, who needs the books. :p Heh. No I would be very curious how you’d like THG though. Do you know the movies? Now I’m trying to figure out which character is the most similar to Snape. Maybe you would like the District 2 characters. If you’d like the District 2 characters, I could recommend to you the most awesome fanfic writer. ;) Or maybe you would like Haymitch, like me. I mean, everybody should. But not everybody does.

Okay, the ebooks-tree.com thing though. Has anybody confirmed that our stories are actually on that platform? Or is it just our names and story titles being used to lure people into signing up? I mean that’s not great either, but at least that way it’s just a search engine marketing scam and not actual theft.
