there was so little cheer in the hall these days. sága knows part of being king is having to deal with unexpected issues, but seeing eirik have to contend not only with the bloodbath the night of the festival, but now with the siege at alrekstad...she worries about him. she worries about him getting any sleep, about him eating, about him surviving. she does what she can. she has one of his servants call him back to his quarters- it’s late, and he needs his sleep. so she sits on the edge of his bed and waits for him, picking nervously at a loose thread on her sleeve.
