The Home of AnimXGenWear and FOMO Unlocks for The Sims 4.
Hi! I'm Sej. It's short for Sejian.
I've been meaning to get my butt on Tumblr for a while. I make little mods for games like The Sims 4 and I rant about sleazy corporate behavior. I also troubleshoot issues and I like slapping little colorful emojis everywhere.
Keep an eye on my 🦄 Modding Announcements Post. It's where I post announcements for, well everything really.
If you're looking for the fix for our broken bodies, you can grab it directly from SFS 🌺 here. My FOMO Unlocks can be grabbed from SFS 👹 here. A collection of my Neurodiversity mods is available ♾️ here, and AnimXGenWear and My Little Animation Overrides can be found 💜 here. Other download options are available in the Patreon posts.
Cheers!
I'm working on overhauling my hashtags for navigation - I can't function in a mess. I'll look into Tumblr's other features or a different theme at a later date. For now, you can use the custom me-specific hashtags below to navigate around.
thank you sooo much for doing your FOMO unlocks, you're a life saver 🙏 I was playing through spring when the event started and I don't see the point of starting a new save just to get the items, but I love the new trait and that scarf. it's very dumb that we simply can't get it on our own time if it's up to EA. again, thank you, you're a friend 🩷
Thank you, and you're welcome!
I'm sure they could code these things to be "Scenarios" or some kind of Live Mode quest thing that we could do at any time, however many times we wanted to - we already have locked items in-game that need to be unlocked by purchasing them from a vendor - but they chose to do FOMO instead, then pretend as though they can't possibly unlock these things after the events have ended.
That's EAxis' idea of community engagement. It's deplorable. 😹
Happy 25-Year Anniversary! I'll be here all week! 😹
Hi lovely, I saw I was mentioned in your recent post, just wanted to mention that I don’t make cas content so was bit confused why I was part of the post? 🫶🏻
Thank you!!
<INSERT AUDIBLE GASP> 🙀
I probably pulled your name from the "Build/Buy" sheet accidentally when it was still a "Future Batch" sheet filled with a mixture of creators... which means I might have omitted someone I was supposed to add? I'll check!
Eh, is fine! If you ever do anything for CAS in the future, you'll have a TAG waiting for you. 😹
Thanks for notifying me. I'll pop a little 🏠 next to your entry in the spreadsheet and on the Tumblr post.
hello! I dont know if it is the autism or if I am just slow/bad at comprehending implicit instructions, but I am struggling to comprehend your filter list mod. I am somewhat proficient with sims4studio and I know this is a big request, if you or someone else who understands it could make like a guide on how to apply the tags correctly and what to install in the mods folder (maybe even with screenshots for the steps?) this would mean the world to me and my pea brain <3
I can totes try to refine my instructions better than they currently are, but also, did you look through the screenshots I attached to the Patreon post?

There are screenshot instructions for the "PROPER" method of adding the TAG to all swatches/CAS Parts and the "QUIK N' DIRRTY" method of adding the TAG to just the first swatch.
Two issues that usually pop up are:
Swatches correspond to the "CAS Parts" seen in WAREHOUSE, but sometimes the order the "CAS Parts" are in does not match the order the swatches are in, so you need to find the "CAS Part" that corresponds to your first swatch.
After adding the TAG in STUDIO, you must edit it in WAREHOUSE to add the missing "CategoryNumber" or the TAG will not work and the filter won't see the item.
See if these instructions help:
Download "sej_CASFilters_[YYMMDD]_[RELINFO].zip". Inside is a "#Sej" folder containing "sej_CASFilters.package". Either put the whole "#Sej" folder into your Mods folder or put "sej_CASFilters.package" into your Mods folder.
Download "sej_CASFilters_JSON_[YYMMDD]_[RELINFO].zip". Inside is a whole bunch of JSON files for S4S. These go into your "Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Custom Tags" folder.
Download one of my BG CAS Add-Ons and toss it into your Mods folder (I think I need to update these again, but they're safe to use) - https://www.patreon.com/posts/126606479
Launch the game, enter NEW GAME CAS and check for my filter in BOTTOMS or FULL BODY depending on which BG CAS Add-On you downloaded. If you see the filter, and filter, and see the item, then everything is working fine.
Now exit the game and open my Add-Ons in S4S so you can compare while adding a filter TAG to your item.
Let's do the "QUIK N' DIRRTY" method of adding a filter TAG to just the first swatch of your item.
In the STUDIO tab, ensure that the first swatch is selected.
Navigate to STUDIO » CATEGORIES » "Miscellaneous" and add the desired "#CASFilters" TAG from the drop-down list.
Now switch to the WAREHOUSE tab and find the "CAS Part" that corresponds to your first swatch and click on it.
Now type "tags" into the "Filter" box. You'll see one "Tags" result.
Click on the "Edit items..." button and it will open the "Editing Tags..." window.
Find the TAG that says "None: #CASFilters_127_[IDENTIFIER]" and click on it.
Change the "CategoryNumber" from "0" to "127" and click on "Save".
Now save your modified PACKAGE and pop back into CAS, et voila. You should see the filter under whatever category your item was and using it should filter your item.
If you still need assistance, you can totes pop into my "Itsumi CAS Filters Chat" on Patreon, or just let me know and I'll try to refine my screenshot instructions.
I don't bite unless biting is the necessary response.
I also want to do a video tutorial.
I'm working on the next update for "CAS Filters" so any revision to the instructions will have to wait til I'm done.
Accidentally found you after researching the feasibility of wheelchairs on TS4 (and being quite rudely downtalked to). People are so flipping ready to defend EA and how hard, so very very hard it is to do things. I'm really tired. This is a million-dollar company. There's no excuse. Thanks for doing what you do and for putting in so much effort/time. I deeply appreciate your Mobility Assistance Platform and the unlocks. Keep up the excellent work and take-no-shit attitude, Sejian. <3
D'aww, thanks! 💜
My Patreon is free, so every time I lose someone, I can't help but think, "It's me, right? I insulted EAxis or criticized someone's favorite creator and they took it personally." 😿😹
I know my attitude can rub folks the wrong way, so thanks for that.
(Just wait til the next batch of Creator Kits release and I "CAS Review" them! 😹)
We all know "game development is hard" and it's not necessarily the dev team intentionally half-arsing everything all the time, but I can't with the toxic positivity and the condescending defense and excuses made on behalf of this multi-billion dollar company.
I don't understand when or how (I do) "we" became so apathetic and defensive of our own exploitation. It's been too many years of bad actors poisoning the general perception of "people who criticize", and too many years of the "haves" convincing the "have nots" that it ain't them, nah, "it's the have nots criticizing them that's the real problem!"
I digress.
I have a BGC Mobility Assistance planned that uses some really nice custom content occult skin details and the Ghost walk style. The damned broken "automatic outfit switching" A.K.A. "the underwear bug" kinda dampened my excitement for making it, because whatever EAxis broke with that in Update 10/22/2024, randomly breaks the internal code that forces the removal of the M.A.P. when bathing, sleeping or swimming - but it's coming.
I'm inching closer to the end of my Wearables™ overhaul and getting back to my other projects.
hi there! i love your mods, they're super helpful for making ts4 playable. one suggestion i have is to limit the emojis and formatting in your patreon posts as it makes it pretty difficult to read at a glance. for emphasis/readability is helpful, but the lyric subheadings like "I THINK I MIGHT NEED A VACATION" on the "no godrays" post don't tell me what the section underneath it is about, it's just kinda confusing. for the "Modding Announcements: 🚀 11/30/24" patreon post, i also recommend putting line breaks instead of the numbered emojis, the big wall of text is hard to read.. i think the subheadings on that post are perfect tho
Hi! Thanks for the feedback!
The lyrics are temporary. I will likely be changing them back to the regular "RELEASE NOTES", "DESCRIPTION", "ANECDOTE" etc. in a future post overhaul. I needed some fun after my four weeks of no internet.
Line breaks I'll have to consider. The formatting on Patreon changed recently and the text and spacing increased for members and me but remained "normal" for visitors - I think, which makes everything look weird now.
As for the title text, I use it as a kind of "ticker tape" to notify when something new has occurred. There's no other way to break up that text than with emojis, I'm afraid. I can't do line breaks and just bare numbers can get lost when there's other numbers in the titles.
For the length of "Modding Announcements", you should have seen it three weeks ago. To conserve cellular data when I had no internet, I was dumping all of the info into "MA". I'm likely restructuring that post soon and removing everything besides the list of mods, the compatibility check, the warning (until I sort out my old mods), and the "me section". The specific bits with numbers like the "me" entry and the description / notes for AXGW aren't staying. Even the list of mods is getting too long and I'm contemplating how to shorten it in a way that works.
This is probably the best example of a better formatted long post I have - https://www.patreon.com/posts/96502131 - and this one is extremely long - https://www.patreon.com/posts/99833884
Our formatting options on Patreon is hella limited. We don't actually have "Subheading" text of different sizes - which is why I preface those with "──── ⋆⋅" and an emoji, all we've got is "Heading" text, "Body" and "Quote", and "Bullet" lists, and "Bold", "Italic", and "Underline". Patreon gave us "Subheading" text for a month, then took it away.
I have no idea how to post things and with Patreon not giving us a proper collection of formatting options and apparently catering more to short posts than long posts with every new change that they also don't seem to consult anyone on, it's terribly frustrating, so all feedback is welcome. I recently started creating Collections as a way to mitigate the problem the formatting changes are causing with the structure of my posts but I've still got work to do.
To make matters worse, I, as the "creator", don't see my posts the same way you do as a visitor/member anymore with Patreon's most recent change to formatting, and I think visitors and members see it differently too - the size of everything is somewhere between "creator view" and "visitor view". I have no idea who at Patreon is making these nonsensical decisions. but it's really !@#$ing annoying.
This is how I see it compared to how you see it - notice my "zoom setting" hasn't changed. Everything looks bad to me right now and I just want to nuke all of it 😹:
I'm always reformatting and tweaking my posts to try to make them as accessible as possible, so all feedback is welcome and appreciated!
