[MOD] fic fest #1: claiming

Hello everyone,

First of all, I’d like to apologize for the delay. Originally, the claiming period was supposed to start on 4th June, but due to personal reasons, I wasn’t able to organize this sooner. However, as announced per twitter, the prompts have been made accessible right away, so at least you were given the chance to check out the prompts earlier and note down the ones you might want to claim.

To keep this post as short as possible, here are the rules and guidelines:

Who is allowed to participate?

Everyone, as long as you have an ao3 account. In case you want to participate but do not own an ao3 account yet, you can easily make one by requesting an invitation code here.

Can i claim more than one prompt?

You can only claim one prompt at a time. Once you finish your fic (or abandon the prompt you have claimed), you are allowed to claim a new one. This means, you can write as many fics as you’d like for this fest :)

I like none of the prompts. Can I come up with my own prompt?

Yes, of course, although we do encourage choosing from the prompt sheet.

What are the requirements for the finished fic?

- more than 2.000 words - no child pornography, no pedophilia, no plagiarism - please send in a newly written fic (not one you have been working on before the fest)

How do i claim a prompt?

[MOD] fic fest #1: prompting

Hello everyone,

How have you been doing?

We know Sekai Day (4th Sept.) is still months away, but every fic fest needs thorough preparations, so here we are to announce sekaiquad's fic event for sekai day. If you've been following our twitter ( @sejongsquad ) you might know that this is just one of three fic events our writer community has planned for this year. While two of the writing challenges are community intern, the fic fest for sekai day will be opened for every sekai shipper - reader or writer - to prompt. Prompting will start today, on Sehun’s birthday :)

Everyone is allowed to send in as many prompts as you like, but please follow the guidelines and rules in the link here.

Our schedule for the fic fest is as follows:

*prompting period: 12th april ~ 30th may *claiming: starting 4th june *check-in: 6th aug *submissions: 27th aug

The prompting form will be opened until 30th May, and more details on the prompting process will be given in a later mod post.
