Seklusyon. Быстрый обзор. Унылая мистическая хоррор-драма с теологическим уклоном, а ля Изгоняющий Дьявола. Филиппинский ужасник про борьбу монахов с демонами и соблазнами. Молодые священники перед посвящением должны прожить семь дней в монастыре, в полной изоляции. Рядом с монастырем ошивается монашка с девочкой, которая творит чудеса. И то ли она святая, то ли чёрт пойми что. Ну и муссируется вся эта тема искушения монахов. Пару моментов может и было интересных, но в основном какая-то натянутая ерунда с бегающими детьми и кровавыми глазами статуй. Не рекомендую. Seklusyon

In 1947, those aspiring to be priest are sent to a remote convent to live in seclusion on the last day of their training. The purpose is to shield them from evil of the world. The plot thickens when a mysterious young girl comes to the convent but the question is whether she is really sent by God or by the Evil.

Hey! If you guys like good psychological supernatural horror, you should watch Seklusyon. I'm not sure if it's streaming anywhere since it's a Filipino movie, but I do know it's subbed in English and some people posted the entire movie on YouTube :)) The plot centers on some priests to be going on a secluded retreat and being trapped with a demon who uses their darkest nightmares and desires to tempt them. It also follows a man investigating the strange miracles performed by a child, a literal sin-eater, who's been placed under the care of a seemingly sinister nun.

Probably the only Filipino horror movie I actually like. Ang ganda ng movie na ‘to. Every shot was cinematic, and ang ganda ng atmosphere: tense and eerie. And it delivers a powerful message wrapped in layers of poetry and metaphors. Perfect para ngayong Halloween 🎃
