I might be reading too deep into it but I noticed what looks like tiny dots on Seldus’s collarbones similar to his facial piercings but it’s obscured by his hair so I have to ask, are his collarbones pierced? Rad if true. also what is the green fluid in his prosthetic I must know

they are! he's had various piercings throughout his life, and it kinda varies which ones are there at any given time (this is totally not because i decide to change it up on a whim)

he keeps the collarbones around because they're impressive. long bars that go behind the bone, and take significant skill to do without seriously messing something up. a bit of a flex of his abilities as a doctor LOL. his nape is also pierced!

as for the prosthetic, initially he built it to store and self-administer a kind of local anesthetic/painkiller (when the wound was fresh). but nowadays, it's just extra Potions And Elixirs storage. sometimes it's empty, but it makes the leg feel really light.

I’m a huge fan of Seldus’s wheelchair that can transform into a spider and his walking cane gun, did he build those? Is the spider form faster than the wheelchair? I’m interested in the contexts he’d use the different forms in

Anyway, while the silhouette and design would lead y'all to believe it's a powder rifle, its actually cartridge loaded! Still single shot, for now; upgrades pending, but a lot less cumbersome in the heat of battle. Especially on a prosthetic leg or while seated. Very much a last resort, not a main weapon. 'Course, I obviously reinforced the frame to support his weight without risk of warpin' the barrel or compromisin' the weapon!

As for his wheelchair, I tried not to go reinventin' the wheel on this one, pun intended. I wanted to give him another way of gettin' around on difficult terrain, stairs, uneven ground, gravel, sand, those sorts of things. But it is rather attention grabbing, so I went and fitted it with an arcane liquid fuel-powered analog transmogrification system. She's still got a long ways to go, but so far, it's saved plenty of time when we go out in the field! Don't tell Seldus, but I'm working on a hydraulic leaping system. Still in testing phase, but I'm really likin' the results so far; just gotta work out some kinks on the landin'...don't know how many more times I can blame these bruises on droppin' tools..."

I saw that Rosalyne cooks and makes sure Seldus is eating properly which is so sweet but also makes me wonder, what’s her favorite meal to make? What’s Seldus’s favorite meal to eat? Does he have a go-to comfort meal she makes when she can’t get him to eat anything else?

rose pretty much cooks anything you would imagine any southerner worth their salt is cooking. her favorite is probably a pot roast of some sort, with lots of vegetables. kind of typical halfling stuff! seldus is mostly impartial to food but he likes mushrooms in particular. a holdover from living in the underdark, perhaps.

when she really can't get him to eat, she usually makes soup. potato usually first choice. the challenge is less that he dislikes what she's cooking, and more that he's too hyperfocused on work to take a break. it's like this a lot of the time
