Something New - Images Selected + A3 Test Canvas

The top left image is all the selected images I have picked out from the round of shooting I did and I put them into one folder to keep it tidy.

The top right image is a picture of the moon I took personally, that I wanted to use for this project, in making the final canvas.

I picked these images are they are both match together and they have different focus points so that’s good for when I’m editing and having to focus stacking them together, to get all object in focus. 

Test Canvas 1 - I like it but it’s just too basic and simple so I feel like I need to add more into it, to make it more interesting and more advert type / side of the product box like. I like how I added the flames coming out the rocket thrusters, so it seems like it’s flying though space.

Test Canvas 2 - I added the Lego logo and text “space” beside it because it’s more advert type / side of the product box like, which I like.

Test Canvas 3 - It’s the same canvas but I added the International Space Station to it as I felt that the space on the pervious canvas needed something, so I put it in and I think it works well.

Test Canvas 4 - It’s the same canvas but I just changed a few things like sizing of the rocket, the International Space Station to make it a little bigger and I used a different front text on the word Space, as I felt like it wasn’t spacey enough.

Something Told - Images Selected + A3 Test Canvas

The top image is all the selected images I have picked out from the round of shooting I did and I put them into one folder to keep it tidy.

I decided to selected these images as I felt they were the best from the day of shooting. Plus I wanted to select images with the toy train facing different ways, as there is a lot of details on it.

Test Canvas 1 - I like this test canvas I made as I like placement of the object in the image, and the shadow of the toy train on the paper behind it. I like how the natural lighting looks falling on it and brings out details on it.

Sense Of Place - Images Selected + A3 Test Canvas

The top image is all the selected images I have picked out from the round of shooting I did and I put them into one folder to keep it tidy.

I decided to selected these image as I felt like they showed off this area of Glasgow well and shows it’s a sense of that place / area.

Test Canvas 1 - I like the layout and placement of the images, I just dislike the top left and middle tones within the images, as I don’t like way how it looks with the others. So I will re-edit them to match the others.

Test Canvas 2 - After re-editing a few times I finally got the right colour tones to match the others, which I am happy with and I really like this canvas.

Beauty In The Banal - Images Selected + A3 Test Canvas

The top image is all the selected images I have picked out from the rounds of shooting I did and I put them into one folder to keep it tidy.

I decided to selected these images from the rounds I shot as I think they work well together and I like how you can see the details of the moon and the stars and planets.

The seconds images has all the test canvas I made as I didn’t know how I wanted the images to be placed while on the canvas.

Test Canvas 1 - I tired to layout the images in a landscape line going across the canvas as I thought the images might be nicer that way, but I wasn’t too sure about it so I thought about changing the layout, which I did later after I edited the images more to the way I wanted them to look like.

Test Canvas 2 - I tried to edit the stars image as it was hard to see, but after editing and placing it next to the other images I picked for the canvas, I felt like the different tones of lighting and colours were not that nicest together, so I decided to re-edit it.

Test Canvas 3 - I re-edited the images again to make the stars more brighter and evenly match with the other images.

Test Canvas 4 - I decided to switch up the layout after I got the images sorted to the way I wanted them to look like. I’m unsure with the layout of the canvas, I think don’t like the placement and the flow of the images.

Test Canvas 5 - I decided to do a triangle themed layout as I thought that layout might of been better and I was right. I liked the way it look and placement of images were nice to look at and flows well together.

Test Canvas 6 - This canvas is the same as test canvas 5 but I made the moon image a little bit bigger, as it was cropped before.

Lighting The Dark - Images Selected + A3 Test Canvas

The top image is all the selected images I have picked out from the round of shooting I did and I put them into one folder to keep it tidy.

I selected these images out as I like how you can see the park bench and the foreground of the image.

I decided to use the first image I think, as I felt like it as the best potential to edit and look the best out them all.

Test Canvas 1 - I like this image but I feel like it’s a little bit dark and it’s hard to see what’s actually in the image.

Test Canvas 2 - I re-edited the image to make it lighter and bring out more of the hided details within the images.

Test Canvas 3 - I like how you can see the sky and background a bit more than the other ones.

Geometry Club - Images Selected + A3 Test Canvas

The top image is all the selected images I have picked out from the rounds of shooting I did and I put them into one folder to keep it tidy.

The second image is a black and white version of the selected images because I just wanted to see it as an example of how it would looked, just incase it was better looking than in colour.

Test Canvas 1 - I really like the images I picked for the canvas and the layout and placement of them, as they are grouped kind of together with how the colour or details are within them. For example the two top right images are have brick effect in them, or the bottom two right images both has a sunset lighting as it was or both have shadows and shapes like squares and rectangles.

Doorstep Portraits - Images Selected + A3 Test Canvas

The top image is all the selected images I have picked out from the round of shooting I did and I put them into one folder to keep it tidy.

I selected this images above as I think they are the best ones from the day of shooting because they are what the brief is asking for and I like the framing and details of the images.

Test Canvas 1 - I like how these two images work so well on this one canvas. I like how both images has a personal family touch. I like the colours and framing of these images. And I also like the layout of canvas and there is a enough white space on it.

White Shirts - Images Selected + A3 Test Canvas

The top image is all the selected images I have picked out from the round of shooting I did and I put them into one folder to keep it tidy.

I really like the images I have selected as they are all natural looking and in the moment. It was the first time back in the studio after a few months and I had to meet new classmates too, so it took a while to get back comfortable in the studio again with the lights, set ups and the lately covid restrictions to etc.

Test Canvas 1 - I decided this image of my classmate was the best of the selected images above as I like the lighting, how it’s looks with how in the moment, natural looking / not staged. I like the framing. And I feel like it very professional looking, that it could be in a magazine and that’s want I was wanting and I had in my mind when shooting this project.
