Welcome to the 10th and FINAL day of Selection OC8 Reveals! (bET YOU WEREN’T EXPECTING THIS SO EARLY) We’ll get straight into it, because we’re tired of typing out [Redacted], and autocorrecting our phones, so SelectionOC8 friends, we present his majesty: King Raphael Schreave of Illéa!

Responsible. Authentic. Conscientious. 📰🤔📸 King Raphael Schreave, or Raffy to most of his close friends and family, is the current reigning monarch of Illéa. He had recently ascended to the Illéan throne last March 15, 2170, after the death of his father, King Remus Schreave. He is the only son between him and Queen Sirina Schreave (née Rajakanya) and is the nephew of King Sulak of Thailand and is the cousin of Crown Prince Bhumibol II. His majesty, currently holds a degree in Political Science with a Minor in Philosophy from the University of Caifornia-Berkeley, notably having entitled his final paper for his minor as “ Ethics and the Face and What We Owe to Each Other: The Good Place and Emmanuel Levinas, a Conjunction of Phenomenological Philosophy and 21st Century Media”. Raphael currently resides in Angeles Castle with his uncle and his family, having always been a reliable support system to one another no matter what. On July 27, 2170, the king had announced that he was to hold a Selection towards the end of the year.

Hey there everyone! Welcome to  Day 9  of the SelectionOC8 Reveals!

For our second to the last reveal, we have a young man who puts the charming in prince charming, but definitely has a smile that can be a little disarming, Twenty-Three:

Prince Archibald Schreave! 🧱🎉💘

Charismatic. Unpredictable. Creative. (The Architect)

Prince Archibald Nolan Schreave, is a Senior Member of the Royal Family, and is currently the Second-In-Line for the Illéan throne after his father, Prince Sylvan Schreave. He is the eldest child between him and Princess Bellamy Schreave and has had a life that has been so involved with the public. From his childhood, Archie carried a sense of charm and level of comfort in front of crowds and cameras that made him a media favorite— very much like his father before him when he was his age. However, the similarities end there. Archie has a given reputation of occasionally getting into trouble or situations that could raise eyebrows. What immediately comes into mind is Prince Archie’s car accident with his sister Austen in 2164, to which he was later charged with an underage DUI. Another thing that comes in mind? His highness’ erratic college major and location changes. However, despite having such a background: Archie has found a career path in what he loves doing the most: studying architecture. At present, Archie lives in Angeles Palace with his family and cousin, Redacted, while studying in his fifth and final year of architecture degree.

With another reveal, comes another piece of the puzzle. We present Part 3 of the reveal fics, this time partially in Archie’s point of view [Three- The Rush]

It’s another day of reveals! Welcome to SelectionOC8 Reveals Day 8!  Something’s got Sam worried.... looks like he’s gotta set off a signal... or shall we say a BEACON?  OC8 friends, we’re pleased to introduce the second love interest in the line up, a Palace Legacy, and a woman the Schreaves would call whenever a crisis is going on.... Miss Bianca Pal! 📞🤳📰

Intuitive. Formal. Bold. (The Beacon)

Bianca Pal is the 22-year-old Communications Lead for the Selection Committee and is a Head Communications Associate for the Office of Royal Communications. Bianca’s family has been working for the palace for several generations, and though Pal is a common surname given to  those working in the Palace (many of whom are unrelated), Bianca’s family had climbed up from humble origins to being Threes in high ranking positions. Bianca is also noted to being one of the closest people to Redacted, having actually gone to the same university as he did at the same time-- where a friendship emerged among the countless times Redacted carpooled with her. Still, Bianca’s whole life has always been defined as a part of a legacy, but she wants to do something beyond trying to clean up every single Schreave crisis that comes along. The Selection, to Bianca, is her first real chance of proving her capability and showing her parents that she could have a life beyond all of this.

Hello, Hello and welcome to the SelectionOC8 reveals Day S e v e n ! 

- and also the very FIRST side romance reveal - 👀 note: This reveal includes ¼ spicy fics, so make sure you don’t miss it! Anyway without further ado, we bring to you our Kingsman and [Redacted]’s loyal shadow:  Officer Samuel Sheridan  💂🏾‍♂️🍲 🐴

Loyal. Caring. Protective (The Kingsman) 

Samuel (aka Seven) is the elder son in a family of Sevens. He was born on a ranch in Folsom, Midston where he worked as a stableboy for the o’Neil’s married couple until he decided to took an oath of Illéan military service, enlisting into the Illéan Army at his 17 years of age. He enjoys cooking and he is a highly skilled horse rider. After several months of intense training at the Fort Orsak camp and subsequently, at the Army Armour Center, Samuel was one of the few chosen by the Royal Household Regiment to be part of the Aurum Squadron of royal guards at Angeles’ Palace. His skills and qualities as a guard made him climb ranks periodically, but it was when Officer Sheridan successfully uncovered an attempt of the media to infiltrate into the palace grounds, that he was promoted to Kingsman, by no other than His Majesty King Remus Schreave. Samuel also became Prince [Redacted]’s personal guard and has been by his side for 6 years now. Currently First Sergeant of the Aurum Squadron and honored to be in charge to safeguard the King’s life.

We bring to you:  

Princess Alessandra Loraine Schreave.  📽 📖 🦋

Intelligent, Perceptive, Dreamer (The Doll)  

Born on February 3rd, 2151 as Alessandra Atkins, until she was legally adopted by the Prince and Princess of Illéa, Sylvan and Bellamy Schreave on September 3rd, 2153 when she was two years old, changing her life forever. 

Before her, the royal couple had been looking for an opportunity to adopt a child for some time, but the process was complicated for them since any kid that would be welcome into the royal family should technically have no ties or family relations that could take advantage of the situation. This was when unexpectedly, life put Sandra in the Schreave’s way.  

The details about her adoption, the name Atkins, as well as Sandra’s origins have remained private from the general public and even from some of the members of the Royal family. This subject, in particular, has been one of the very few things the Schreave-Osteen family hasn’t shared with the people, in order to respect the young girl’s privacy, though that hasn't stopped the media from making any kind of speculations about it.   

The majority of adopted children are eager to know everything about their past, but despite her parents’ offerings to tell her more about her past, she hasn’t felt ready to hear the complete story, yet. 

Friends and acquaintances never cease to remind her how lucky she was to be adopted into the most powerful family of the country and she’s certainly grateful for it, though sometimes the disadvantages of living such a public life weigh hard on her. That sentiment often makes her feel guilty and scared to know what would be of her if Sylvan and Bellamy weren’t her parents. 

Asking more about her original identity would make it feel ungrateful, she really wouldn’t want a life without grandma Lele, Redacted and twenty-three... and even when their first meeting wasn’t the best twenty-one eventually became her sister and friend! Though if she was asked, she would gladly give up the luxuries in exchange to live a normal life out of the spotlight. 

That, as well as other characteristics they have in common, it’s what brings Sandra and Redacted closer as cousins, often feeling like brother and sister. 

Growing up watching movies with her sister and family, Sandra developed a love for the cinematic universe, which made her pursue a bachelor’s degree in film and media production. She is currently studying her sophomore year at Southern Angeles University (SAU). You often can see her carrying her DSLR ‘Fanon’ camera around the palace, filming here and there. She also enjoys playing the violin as a hobby and as a relaxing method when she needs it. 

Naturally, the previous tragic deaths in the Schreave family have been as hard for her as for everyone else, though she has always been there to support and cheer Redacted up back then and now with his upcoming Selection. Part of her knows this could be a positive experience for her cousin, but knowing him as she does, she can’t help to worry because the Selection could also be a door that opens both ways. 

The post is supposed to be a part of a script written by Sandra out of her memories and the stories her family had told her about the day she arrived to Angeles’ Palace, plus some additions she took the liberty to add. She writes this for fun and practice, not meant to be more than just a private thing for herself.

Hello, and welcome to the SelectionOC8 reveals Day 3

We introduce you to: Bellamy Schreave Osteen, Duchess of Waverly and Princess of Illéa.

Coming from a family of Fours, Bellamy never thought one day she would fall in love and marry a Prince, until life put her in a situation that woke her deepest ambitions and made her apply for [Uncle]’s unconventional Selection, which she won becoming his wife, proud mother of three and [Redacted]’s supportive Aunt. She will be in the palace to assist and guide the Selected on anything they need and supporting his nephew in this important stage of his life. The post is a compilation of magazine articles that together resume Bellamy’s life. Two of them written back on 2145 and the last one more recently September 1st 2170: Life before the Selection, her relationship with [Uncle] during the selection and her life after it. Tonight, we introduce someone you’ve never heard about, but would definitely want to talk to:

Queen Dowager Eleanor Schreave

Aka “Grandma Lele”, [Redacted]’s Grandmother!Cunning, Analytic, Resilient. Queen Dowager Eleanor never expected to become Queen when she fell in love with the youngest Schreave brother, a man whose older brother would eventually abdicate and name her love heir apparent and future king. Still, Eleanor was by his side and stood strong with similar values as her husband. Formidable in the field of International Relations and Friendly in making pottery, but also a strong advocate for public education as the force behind the establishment of the Illéan National Universities. Officially retired, Eleanor spends her time in Angeles with her son and her grandchildren. Queen Eleanor will be played by Chris. Find her blog @queen-dowager-eleanor
