1. What does this character’s voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
(lumping bc i ended up answering them together anyway)
Luciel has kind of a mid range voice. When speaking, he tends to be rather loud and jovial, in accordance with his personality. He’s the type that tends to use playful ‘character voices’ – if that makes sense? However when he’s serious about something or focused, his tone tends to drop and he speaks very plainly. Vanderwood at one point comments that when they first met, Luciel had a very robotic way of speaking, talking with very little emotion or inflection. He had a ‘speak only when spoken to’ mentality. Luciel is simultaneously a blabber mouth and incredibly tight lipped. If there’s one thing he’s good at, it’s talking his way out of a situation simply by talking incessantly. He’s good at diverting your attention away from the topic, seeming like he’s answered the question but then not really answering it. While he’s a good liar, he’s even better at just avoiding the truth altogether. Often times he does so by making jokes.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
According to the wiki trivia, Luciel can speak seventeen different languages, making him a polyglot. His proficiency in these languages varies between full fluency and basic understanding and continues to vary when you take into consideration reading and writing abilities. The most notable languages he can speak and read/write are Korean, Chinese, English, Russian and Japanese, given that these are the prominent language groups surrounding South Korea, plus English which has a lot of relevance in global politics. He also has some experience with Arabic, which he uses for his security system and Latin which he began learning for fun and because it’s helpful when learning languages derived from it.
