According to chapter 5’s secret boss (I hope you’ve played or watched a play though of it), ghost count as lightners. And during the part where they burn castletown, we see Mad Mew Mew/Dummy. Does Mad Dummy also deal with a dilemma like Pink?

Imma be real with you, I only put her in as a cameo because people asked me to. It was due to the plot point of the Dark World entrance being made under Papyrus' sink. Which is where we can find the dog shrine and fight Mad Mew Mew (in the Switch version.)

I think pulling something out of thin air for the sake of an answer would be kinda cheap. Especially considering it's not part of the comic.

Deltarune chapter 5 positioning Pink as a "big sister" and seeing how much she dotes on Orange really makes me question how much we actually knew about the dynamic between her and Mettaton or Napstablook. We know they're family and they live together but we never really see them interact, do we?

Undertale has Mettaton so happy and fulfilled and the "Mad Dummy" is so all over the place that I think it made people automatically think of Mettaton as the "older sibling" who has it all figured out, but now in Deltarune, with the super-content way Pink acts in the dark world vs how sad and self-isolating Mettaton is as a "nobody", that dynamic is pretty much completely reversed... Another instance of Deltarune mirroring Undertale.

Come to think of it, the whole reason Mad Dummy fights us in Undertale is because we were "mean" to the ruins dummy, isn't it? I guess Pink always had a doting, protective side to her.

Ghost Cousins Headcanon #1:

After leaving home and finding a body she loved, Mad Dummy/Mad Mew Mew chose the name “Maddie” for herself. It’s not short for anything, it’s just Maddie. Exactly what’s on the box.

However, Mettaton likes to elongate it to “Madeline” and it pisses her off.

Pink.

I propose that The Roaring Knight is Mad Dummy/Mew Mew/Pink. That’s why the Knight was so late in chapter five! Because she had to go be the secret boss!

And clearly, now that she’s happy with her body, she might not even bother with the knight. After all, she can’t stay in castle town if Knight shenanigans are happening.
