Background

She was born into a loving family. Three years after her birth, her family welcomed Carlos and they felt like a complete family. She would spend most of her days playing with her older brother Austin or with her cousins. She was unaware of her family’s connection to magic and the Heartless. A few days after she turned five her life changed.

One night, she vanished from her room. There was no note or signs of a break in, making her family go into panic. A nation wide search had begun but there was no leads as to who had taken her or why. Eventually her disappearance faded away from the public eye.

When she woke up, she was at Destiny Islands. Riku and Sora found her sleeping on the beach and woke her up. She cried when she didn’t recognize her surroundings (something the boys would tease her for years). She was taken in by Sora and his family and grows up alongside him, Riku and Kairi.

She still has faint memories of her family and was the one who suggested building a raft to find other worlds. She hopes to find her world and reunite with her family. However the night before their trip, the Heartless destroyed her world and a Keyblade claimed her.

Personality

Selena comes off as a quiet girl. Around others she keeps to herself but she’s more open around her friends. She’s the oldest of her friend group and is the most mature out of them. Whenever Sora and Riku fight, she was the one who would settle it down. When Kairi first arrived at Destiny Islands, she was the one who showed her around and checked up on her. She’s close to Kairi as both of them have a similar experience. She even comes to see her as a little sister. Whenever someone was rude or mean to either of the three, she stood up for them.

When she first met Donald and Goofy, she was incredibly suspicious of the two. She had lost a home a second time and had no idea what the two were up to. As time went on, she trusted the two after seeing them help her and Sora. After learning that Riku was in cahoots with Maleficent she was upset. The light in her heart died a little, making her heart ache. During the battle against him in Hollow Bastion, she gave him a reality check. After seeing that Ansem had possessed him, she charged at him yelling for him to get out of her friend’s body.

Keyblade

The Forgotten Memories Keyblade is a Keyblade that’s said to link memories of worlds to the user. Those who wielded the Keyblade before have the world’s ‘memories’ stored inside it and can recall where certain worlds are.

This Keyblade has a strong affinity with those born into magic. It’s noted that those who have magic in their blood make the Keyblade’s power stronger. Due to Selena’s family blood line, she became the next wielder. The previous weilder sensed that she had a strong connection to magic and chose her as their successor.

When she gained her Keyblade, it unlocked the magic that was sealed in her. The light in her heart is a major factor in how powerful her spells are. However she doesn’t have much control over it and her spells come off too strong at times

She speaks with a mild Southern accent

The light in her heart can fluctuate depending on her emotions. Even if some of it should die out, it can come back after some time healing

She began casting small spells on her own sometime after the events of Kingdom Hearts and wonders if there’s something about her family once she learns more about the Keyblade

Kingdom Hearts Self Insert

Appearance: Long black hair that reaches mid back, dark brown eyes, tan skin, 5’1, wears black and red a lot but wears other colors if she wants, and wields the Forgotten Memories Keyblade, a key shaped weapon with the handle coated in black, small red circles with different locations, and silver blade

Personality: Blunt, honest, introverted, nerdy, ready to sacrifice herself for her friends, brave, appears to be rude but isn’t, will stand up for her friends, secretive at times, kind when needed, quiet, mature, and loyal to those who earned her trust

Backstory: When she was a child, she was taken in the middle of the night from her home. No trace of her or her kidnapper was found and she was declared missing in her home world. She woke up on the Destiny Islands and was taken in by Sora and his family and grew up with him and Riku. She befriends Kairi and gets along with her due to them coming from different worlds. When the Destiny Islands is destroyed by the Heartless and the Keyblade claims her, she learns that other worlds exist. She joins Sora, Donald, and Goofy on their quest and hopes to reunite with her family.

The World of Twisted Wonderland

This is a fan made post, there is no connection between the two games. This is something I made for my OCs

Twisted Wonderland is a world that few know off. When the Keyblade War hit the vast worlds, this one was affected a lot. A lot of civilians were asked to fight and left few behind at home. The villains had come to this world in hopes of ruling but end up helping out. There were seven villains who took the most credit for helping a damaged world rebuild itself;

These seven came to be known as the Great Seven by the locals. The seven told of their tales and set up the countries that make up of Twisted Wonderland. It was a mutual agreement between them and other villains that had a hand in helping, such as the Righteous Judge, to protect this world. This world is the villain sanctuary, one where they are finally the good guys instead of the opposite. They all worked together to craft a barrier to protect this world, leaving behind figures of themselves from their memories to watch over the people. These figures have faded into spirit like being that can be seen with objects like the Ghost Camera.

The deeds of them rebuilding the world have been stories passed down from generation to generation. From then on, they became advanced with using magic for a variety of purposes.

There are ways to break through the barrier and enter Twisted Wonderland. Normal ways are Gummi Ships and such but some use very powerful magic to access this world. Only one has successfully opened the barrier with powerful magic, and they sent Estella Garcia there. It’s when Selena opened a portal with her Keyblade that she somehow accessed Twisted Wonderland, she became the second person to use magic to access the world.
