There were plenty of creatures around to eat – like those weird feathered flying things and hairy bushy tailed runners – but actual city cuisine was a little more exciting, and he supposedly was given some money to start off until he could make his own. Why not?

Grimm chooses a lovely looking cafe by the name of Pandora while he's looking through Archimedes, greeting the woman there with a hearty smile.

“A swell afternoon to you, my kind lady. Might you have any sort of special available?

                                   ...Although, you’ll have to show me how to release the                                                                        coins from this box.”

A potent air of power greets her from where she was dozing in the awning of a flower shop, pulling her head up off its paws. Drawing deeper, mouth slightly open, she comes to her feet and follows the unfamiliar presence. Not divine nor dark- no, on a closer sampling, there is something holy about it, but tangled together with a presence unlike what she’s beheld before. Very strange indeed.

The source seems to be a young woman, one that reminds Amaterasu of a dragonian, albeit clearly not meant for the water, with wings like that. She seemed preoccupied, at least, not enough to immediately notice the wolf behind her.

A state of affairs Amaterasu ‘helpfully’ rectified with a perhaps louder-than-necessary bark.

Let it never be said that the sun mother lacked a sense of humor.
