Oh my God, it’s that $9/yard clearance blue taffeta we have at work in our overstock. All 20 bolts of it.
I'm having a sudden attack of the grabby hands and have to keep reminding myself that my budget cannot afford another victorian build right now.

Yesterday Selenophobic and I worked on her scales prosthetic for her Smauglock costume for 221B Con. I forgot to take a picture after the sculpt was done because I am really good at forgetting. This is it after she dug out the lines and I refined a bit. It got smoothed out and then textured with a towel. We molded it with plaster and once it’s dry, she’ll be pouring in liquid latex. Excited to see how her costume turns out. I might do hobbit John for her.
