❝ when was the last time you slept? ❞ breathed out in the most sincerest of tones, a dark eyebrow quirked upwards in curiosity. mona made it a point to not dig too deeply into albedo's personal life on account of not wishing to make the chief alchemist uncomfortable - yet, this question comes out unbiddenly, gaze sharp as she keeps the blond's figure under her observant eye for a moment. ❝ you know, they say minds work best under full rest ... as in, you should probably rest some. ❞
for albedo from this prompt!
Albedo can appreciate Mona's concern. It's not a topic people bring up with him usually, and in most cases, Albedo doesn't even like discussing it in the first place. As far as he's concerned, his needs are his business, everyone else can manage their own needs.
But he supposes that Mona may have a point here. Albedo pauses his current work - a painting of the surrounding hills of Mondstadt, and turns to face her.
"Rest isn't something I require often," Albedo says softly. "I do require sleep, but I don't need it as much as, say you for example." A small smile plays at his lips as he sets down his paintbrush. "Your concern is noted." He turns from her briefly to take a sip of water - first checking to make sure it's clean water, and not the paint-soaked water.
"What brought this on? Surely you didn't just come to converse about my apparent lack of sleep."
