(Your POV)
Stage…lights…and then the curtain opened.
I stood there, the gun i held firmly pointing at Mr Rouge who laid lifeless on the floor, the stage lights brightening those horrifying blue eyes that lifelessly stared at me.
I couldn’t move, I couldn’t speak. It suddenly became hard to breathe. A singular drop of sweat fell from my face as my hearing was overwhelmed by ringing.
I felt them screaming as all of their eyes were on me. The thousands of people who always adored and lived for our show were now screaming, crying, running out of the theatre in fear of the tragedy that happened behind curtains, everything went slow, i was loosing myself.
T-perine, the acrobat slowly ran to me, her face contorting and her mouth spitting as she tried to shake me awake. Her colourful pompoms swaying along side her dark curls as her white outfit was stained by the droplets of Mr Rouge’s blood the moment he got shot in the head. The moment I shot him in the head.
She shook me, she screamed my name over and over again, i couldn’t turn to her, i couldn’t face her after what i’d done. I just stared at his eyes, his blue eyes, his lifeless blue eyes that pierced my soul. The same eyes i shot a bullet in between after learning my secret, my sacral lie. I couldn’t let him have it.
He didn’t have to die..
I didn’t have to shoot him…
I just couldn’t. I couldn’t.
I couldn’t let him live after knowing what i did.
