STORY TIME
I gotta brag on my babyyy. We went for a sneaky walk at this tiny bougie park in a neighborhood near us. We were all by ourselves except for a BUNNY!!! I was like "pip, what's that 👀" and she was like
"👁👁‼️" and TOOK OFF at this critter. Instead of diving for cover, the bunny ran allllllll the way across the open grass of this park. It's not huge, more like a parklet lol, but it's the longest she's ever chased live game. It was soooo rad to see her zoom into full extension, jockeying this critter like a real coursing dog! Then they were nearly at the distant bushes where they meet the road, and I obviously didn't want her (or the bunny tbh) ending up in the street, so I did her recall cue. INSTANT 180, booking it back at full speed with a big grin on her face. We partied big time and she got to stick her whole face in the treat pouch.
I knowwww I'm a broken record but our lives are filled over and over with "firsts" now and seeing her so well and strong and happy...makes me misty tbh... she's my best little buddy.
